When I got home Arthur had a wicked grin.
"So, where were you in fifth period huh kid?" I rolled my eyes.
"No where." He nodded slowly.
"Sure. Whatever you say." He walked away as I sighed. I sat down on the couch pulling out my phone. I had one missed call from Aunt Katie. Inhaling sharply I called her back. She picked up right away.
"David Christian Roberts!"
"Yeah?" I tried to sound innocent.
"You started a food fight?!" I shook my head no.
"No! Someone else did! I was laughing and got in trouble because Mr. Rigmoore thought I did!" There was a pause and eventually she sighed.
"Whatever we'll talk about it when I get home." And with that she hung up. I frowned and set my phone down. I was in so much trouble for something I didn't even do! Aunt Katie won't listen to me anyways. She never does. After my mom passed away and I was forced to live here nothing is correct. When I told her that i wanted to be a writer she told me it would never happen because I am to shy to share it with anyone also that it would suck.
A few hours had passed since I was forced to go to my room. It was at least one in the morning and I couldn't sleep. Aunt Katie told me that I wasn't in to much trouble because i had great grades, but that doesn't mean that I'm still not in trouble. She had sent me to bed without dinner and I'm not allowed to leave my room until its time to leave for school. I hate this. I wish that I never had to move here to this stupid place.
