Laughing Jack

I held the box out to her and she seemed to be in a daze for a second. It was a few seconds of awkwardness before she actually grabbed the box from me and studied it. "Why did you put the candy in a box?" She asked as if she didn't get the concept.

"Cause it's a gift. Gifts are normally wrapped up like this so you don't know what's in it." Though she seemed to already know what it was, like the first attempt with the jack in the box, she seemed to have a good knowledge on how things worked or what hid out her view.

"Oh," she sounded confused, but didn't press any questions. "Thank you." she said holding it on her lap.

"Well aren't you going to open it?" I pushed on and she gave a small nod. pulling the Bow and it slipped out into a long black ribbon. She took her time opening the box and I couldn't help, but to smile. Let it be cause of my insanity, but when she noticed me smiling she returned it.

She picked up one of the bags of candy and opened it and offered some to me. Not like I would miss a chance to eat sugar. I grabbed a small ball and popped it in my mouth around the same time she did. I was glad she was trusting me. I was glad there was a friend out there that knew what I did, and didn't fear me for it.

I rolled the candy on my tongue and paused it tasted off. and once I realized Sally's words rang in my head like ghost trying to haunt me. 'He always knows.' I jumped spitting the Candy out ready to yell for the kid to do the same, but she had already doubled over and that black sludge was leaving her mouth.

Panic. A feeling I haven't known for so long had filled me. "Kiddo!" My hand reached out to her, but it stopped me. The black goo and spiked up impaling my hand.

"DON'T TOUCH ME!" She yelled. That was loud enough for the guards to hear her and the door slam open. I didn't have enough time to vanish, before they saw me and I looked them in the eyes as I vanished out.

Experiment 05

Why. Why did he... My eyes were on him, he was smiling like always and I mimicked his smile, actually happy to see him and then there was that candy, it had burned my mouth. It was painful, I've never felt something like that in my mouth before. It was like A burning feeling, like a fire was trying to melt my mouth. My body rejected it by the time he stood. I couldn't look at him at this point. I trusted him, I thought he would protect me, but he just hurt me. The goo was rushing to wash out the candy from my mouth and onto the floor.

His hand reached out me and panic hit it. "DON'T TOUCH ME!" I yelled through my pain and sludge. My eyes closed as I stayed bent over. 'Don't touch her' Sunny's voice said almost said right after me and I heard that sound. Flesh tearing and the smell of the monster's blood. He was a monster. I knew that.

The door was thrown open and the guards Yelled and a siren went off. "No..." I wept shuttering blocking out the sounds and placed my hands over my ears. 'I didn't want this...' I thought to myself and opened my burning eyes,

"Experiment 05!" the guard yelled. and my eyes slowly looked over to the door. One guard was pinned to the wall by a black tendril. It came from that goo that I've purged. I Killed him. I killed a human. The guard that called to me took a step back. He looked scared. I shook my head and put my hands over my mouth. "No, I didn't..." I made out and the goo vanished, one body on the floor and the other guard was shaky as a group came around the corner and the blonde doctor ran into the room. "Where is he?" He yelled at me and my watery eyes moved from the body to the doctor who was yelling at the living guard. I looked at the floor and notice the box of candy was gone but the black ribbon was on the floor. My hand reached out to it shaky and grasp it. 'Laughing Jack....' The thought hurt and tears rushed down my face, burning my cheeks. The doctor looked at me and I moved to a kneeling position and turned my head to look at him, though I was crying I wouldn't show any emotion.

When I find that little brat I'll gut her. Sally's candies had acid in them and now I don't know what's going to happen to my friend. The human's saw me, I doubt I'll be able to check on her for some time. I raged through the mansion searching for the Burnett bitch. I just couldn't have fun. I bumped into Jeff who snarled at me. Needless to say I gave him a twice as vicious snarl that caused him to stagger back. At this point I don't care if I'm not in character I just wanted one person dead. By the time I found her I realized who put her up to it. She made sure to stand behind him too.

"What's the meaning of this!" I roared at Slender who stood in his office facing the door, where I stood. Sally looked at the ground and pressed her lips together, actually looking scared.

'I should be asking you' That voice pissed me off, he didn't speak he pushed his voice into others heads. 'How did you find that child?'

"What does it matter? I was going to kill her!" I yelled part of me flinched at my words. 'was I going to?'

'Jack, don't test me.' the voice boomed in my head causing it to pulse. I wasn't a human, never was, so things like this didn't scare me. It angered me.

"You know how I found the kid," I hissed thew my teeth and it was only now I realized how quiet the house became. Everyone was watching, listening. "Why did you stoop that low to steal my kill?!" I yelled making sure no one had the wrong idea.

'You couldn't continue your behavior. Your jobs have been sloppy and your color was coming back. You were feeling again, becoming mortal.' His voice was ragged and his posture became more threatening. Part of me was glad that I was the only one that heard his words.

My right claw clenched into a fist while the other stretched in a dangerous way. Mortal my ass, If I fought him now I wouldn't win. He has more power than me and I knew that. I clenched my teeth, feeling my fangs grow and push against my other teeth. I didn't have to be here.

I turned my back to him not willing to lose a fight to him. 'Jack, if you leave now you will NOT be coming back.' The damn voice was pissing me off. 'You'll lose the community's protection.' It taunted like it was a reason I would stay. Like I needed the community's Protection.

"Fuck, this place. I'll go back to being solo. If you guys get in my way, I'll kill you, Monster or not." I said vanishing from the room and appearing in the dream realm.

Fuck them, I'll do what I want.

If this is worth continuing let me know, I did a small update since I been gone, but as far as I'm aware this story might not be worth continuing.
