I start boarding on the plane heading to Florida, all theses thoughts running through my head. Who knew your life can change all of a sudden from a stupid text. Woah.
*couple hours later* I had just gotten off of that obnoxious plane and I get a text saying to go to 31 street. Umm ok then... I get a cab and I have no idea what to expect. I arrive there and in front of me I see a very torn down, Ugly, building. Really? You've got to be kidding me. This day is just getting better isn't it. From the bravery I have left in me, I open the door.
Inside there is a corridor leading to a very long hallway. Wait, how did I get here again? Ahh, from my "dad"
I arrive to a large entrance and there is a small lock at that door. I reach inside the small box I received from my dad and I pull out a card with really high tech numbers and letters, I'm not so good with this. In the right corner, there is a picture of me with my name underneath. I give the lock a try by sliding the card across and to my surprise it actually works. I enter and you'd never believe what I see inside. There are rows of computers and really fancy-dressed people working. There is also a large screen in the center of everything. What is this? Someone around my age comes up to me with a name tag saying Kristy and asks me "are you Alison?"
Yes.
"please come with me, we have been waiting for you for a while now" I don't know what's happening. I just feel so emotionally (and physically because I haven't had any rest in weeks) weak, I don't even know. I follow Kristy to a large room. I enter to find a middle-aged man sitting on a large desk.
"Welcome Alison to SAS, Secret agent Society. I know you are probably very confused right now, but I promise you things will be better."
Thank you, but can I ask why I'm here and what happened with my dad. I haven't seen him in years and all of a sudden get mail saying I must come here. How can I trust you knowing that you won't harm me or anything.
"First, let me start by saying that your dad has asked to send you here for your own protection, don't feel safe? Then go ahead leave. But I know that someone has been "stalking" you lately, so I think you are better off here than anywhere else. Anyways, it is getting really late and you must be exhausted from the travel. Go ahead take these keys and Kristy here will show you to your room in which you would be staying in for a little while now. I promise to explain everything tomorrow."
I leave the room and follow Kristy to an elevator that leads to a hallway filled with computers and different doors. She leads me to a room all the way to the end and shows me how to work the door. I enter the room and I'm speechless. Never in my life have I ever seen anything like this. My "room" is almost like a full furnished house! The living room is very well decorated with lights and flowers all around. There is a clear, see-through window by the table that has an amazing view of everything. I go to my room and I'm instantly in love. There is a large bed in the middle surrounded by gold decorations and turquoise colored walls. I am beyond amazed. Kristy watches me as I stand in awe of my surroundings.
"Pretty cool, huh?"
yes, yes, yes.
"well if you need anything, just use this phone to call me anytime you'd like, have a goodnight. See you tomorrow."
Thank you.
I have a feeling I am really going to like this place, and me and Kristy are going to be best friends.
