"Balita balita daw, may new student dito sa school." Khalil, my bestfriend reports to me as I surf the web.
"I'm listening." I replied as I wanted to know more and show him that I'm interested.
"He's a scholar and a very bright kid, daw." He tells. Khalil is this kind of guy who has glasses and wears lousy clothes. But he is pretty much attractive. But not to me.
"So, what's his name?" I asked him by the time I looked away from my phone screen just to have eye contact with him.
"Yan nga, eh! Di ko pa alam. But I'll eventually find out." He assured me and placed a smile on his lips.
"Okay, see you later." I said then walked away. Who's this new guy anyway? Is he really that important?
