"Wow, this cafeteria is sick." I said, looking around the small room with lots of tables. There were three rooms in all, with round tables and rectangular tables put in each. Lots of them. We stood in a line as a guy was standing in the middle of the room with a guitar in his hand, singing as everyone joined along. "This kinda reminds me of an Art Camp." I said, looking at Emily.
"Yeah, a lot of people here sing and play instruments. That guy singing is usually the only one bringing his guitar in and singing while eating." she explained moving forward as the line got shorter.
"So what, do they just have a little group of people who sing?" I asked, watching the guy stomp his foot and sing his heart out.
"Pretty much. It's him, some guy with a bass, a ukulele--"
"Oh my God, a ukulele?! Where. Where is it." I demanded, getting close to Emily. She pushed me off of her.
"Woah.. I don't know. He doesn't play it around a lot, though." she said, shrugging and walking again. I followed her, frowning.
"Oh. Well that's disappointing." I said, sighing a bit and looking around the cafeteria.
"Ohh Emilyyyy." Ryan called, walking towards us.
"Oh Jesus. Hide." she said, pretending to hide behind me. Ryan looked down at me and I gave him a calm look.
"Emily, come on, don't hide from me." he said, coolly moving me out of the way and grabbing Emily's shoulders.
"Okay, fine fine fine." she said, giving him a hug and making a weird face. "Wait. Why are you coming here anyways." she asked, raising a brow. Ryan gasped and put a hand over his mouth.
"Well then, sorry for wanting to say hi." he said, frowning. Emily made a 'pfft' sound.
"Okay, hi Ryan." she said, smiling before pulling me inside the food area. It was pretty much like a buffet. You get a tray, they ask you what you want, and then you get it. Which is pretty cool to me. We got our food and sat down in the second room where there was no one, Emily slamming down her tray and sitting down. I set mine down calmly and sat down next to her, giving her a look.
"Uh. You okay?" I asked, raising a brow at her. She took her fork and stabbed her pork chop, nomming on it. I gave her a look before laughing a bit.
"Emily, you look like a animal. Stop. What's wrong." I demanded, cutting my pork chop up before taking a bite. "Dear Lord this is good." I said, drinking my Dr.Pepper.
"Ohhh nothing. Ryan is just being annoying." she said. I sighed.
"He was just saying 'hi' anyways." I said, keeping my focus on my food.
"Yeah but you don't know them as much as I do." she grumbled, taking a drink. I lifted my hands up in defense.
"Well sorryyyy." I said, laughing a bit.

"Why can't we change into, I don't know, bathing suits?" I asked as we walked down the rocky road to the pool.
"We're just going to check it out before we get in there. I don't want to get in there while all of the Fugly Five is in there so they can drown us." she said, shuddering a bit. We opened the door and walked into the hot humid air that was trapped inside the building.
