It was a cold, rainy day in Seattle,Washington.

The sky painted shades of gray, white and blues as clear droplets fell gently from above. But for Seattle, this was just another day. It rained quite a lot there, and nobody was really surprised when it started pouring around lunch hour.

Ross sighed, leaning back in his chair to stare out the window. They were in between videos, so he had a little time to go do something while everything was set up for the next one. And he had to admit, it was nice to have a moment to relax. Lately everyone had been busy trying to get out content due to PAX East coming up, and wanting to have something for viewers that weren't able to make it to watch.

A small tap sounded from behind him, causing the curly haired male to turn towards the window showing the offices. A familiar ginger stood there, smirking and flipping him off. Which, in the language of that man, meant "It's set.Get to work you fuck". Ross chuckled quietly before pretending to look offended, making the latter grin and run back to his desk. He spun back to his desk, quickly accepting the Skype call and joining the game as they began recording GMod Prop Hunt.

-TIMESKIP, Because god knows what happened there.-

After nearly 30 minutes of mostly Adam screaming and Max nearly going insane, they finally ended the video with Adam's sign off and Barney yelling about apples. The call sounded into small laughter before closing again, everyone stopping for a bit to go get lunch.

He stood, deciding to join the others for a little bit before stopping and glancing over at Max.

The ginger was editing as usual, but something felt..different. He seems much gloomier than usual. Not saying he's always sad or anything, but more like he doesn't seem mildly annoyed. Ross paused for a moment, going over how Max seemed for the week before simply settling on the thought that he seemed to be down. What could he do for this man? He thought for a while before noticing that he had turned towards Ross, a questioning look on his face while Tim-Tim, who had been editing next to him, was looking at both of them with a smirk.

"Ross. Do you need something? Or are you going to just stand there." Max growled, slowly getting more suspecious of him staring for what must've been 10 minutes.

"N-no!Sorry." Ross replied, blushing a little from embarrassment before turning on his heel and running after the others.

Adam and Ethan were waiting by the door, talking about future plans and occasionally joking about things they saw before quieting down as Ross approached.

"About time you got here Narwhal! We would've left you here had you taken any longer!" Adam joked, trying not to smile but failing horribly. Ethan grinned, and Barney (who was somewhere at the bottom of the stairs) yelled for them to hurry up.

Ross shook his head, laughing quietly before they made their way down the staircase and to the car, beginning the drive to the mall.

Once they arrived, they ordered lunch and as they waited, Ross eventually snuck off. What was something Max would want? I mean, other than mac and cheese. And corn dogs. There had to be something he could get him!

After a few aisle checks later, he nearly gave up hope and returned to his friends. They had 20 minutes for lunch, since it'd been 10 so far. And that's the time he has to find Max a decent gift and eat lunch. The others noticed the distressed look he'd been giving his food, and quickly spoke up.

"Ross? You alright buddy? You look like someone stole your katanas and you can't get them back." Adam said worriedly, looking towards his friend.

"I'm fine, but I don't know what to get Max. He seems really down lately."

Barney raised his head before nodding in agreement.

"Max has been acting the strange latelys."

Ethan shrugged, and Adam sighed.

"I guess he has been acting a little off. Whats something he likes?"

"That's the problem. I don't really know!"

The curly haired male smile sympathetically, patting him on the back.

"Ross, if anyone were to know what Max would want, it'd be you. But if you want my help? No Christmas cards in peoples smoothies." He said, before standing up and throwing his paper plate away. Barney agreed quietly, before doing the same and Ethan had finished some time ago. Ross nodded with a smile before standing and throwing the plate away.

"Maybe you could get him sweets? I think he might like something like that." Ethan suggested, smile on his face.

"Maybe.." Ross repeated, looking towards the bakery on the other side of the mall.

Just maybe.
