Jason McCann's P.O.V

I stared at her as she walked down the stairs greeting one of her friends. A small smile came across her lips as they began interact. I tapped my fingers on the steering wheel watching her every move. She was beautiful.
I couldn't help but admire her beauty; her glowing skin, her black hair, her smile were just a few things I couldn't help but adore. Her black hair was up into an afro bun but her wet curls were still very much visible. She wore a gray shirt with a pair of jeans that remained modest and stylish. A sigh escaped my lips as I watched her rearrange the books in her hands.
I hated myself for letting something so precious as her go. She was honestly my everything and I lost her with one mistake.

One mistake that I'll always regret.

I quickly pushed the thoughts back and continued to look at my princess.

She suddenly tighten her grip on her books and embraced the girl into a hug before walking over to her car. She opened the door and placed her books and bag into the left seat before walking over to the driver side and driving off.

I instantly put my key in the ignition and slowly followed her wanting only to talk to her and hold her in my arms.

When I finally stopped the car a few inches away from her , I watched her grab her things and walk in to her house. She instantly closed the door leaving me with frustration and guilt. I lost her all because I let my emotions get the best of me. I hurt her with my words and turned her into this heartless creature towards me. She was filled with hatred all because of him. I lost her because of him. I'll never in my life regret what I did to him but I'll always regret how scared I made my baby feel.

I opened the car door slowly and stepped out letting the cold February breeze hit my face. I slowly closed the door and began to walk over to her porch. I felt my nerves begin to take over me as I knocked on her front door. I needed to tell her how much she met to me. I needed her to know how deeply in love I was with her. I needed her to see how much I changed for the both of us. I needed her back into my life so I could gain my happiness back.

The door suddenly opened as I met a pair of dark brown eyes. A smile came across my face as I stared back at her, she was even more stunning up close. I reached my hand out to touch her but she instantly moved away afraid of me hurting her.

"Princess, I'm not gonna hurt you " I said hoping she would believe me and take me back into her life.

"What are you doing here Jason?" She asked as she crossed her arms

"I just wanna talk. I want to apologize for everything Y/N. I want you back and I want you to know how much I truly care about you. I changed for you baby. I stopped smoking and I'm drinking water instead of alcohol. I-I even left the gang just to prove to you how serious I was about us. Please just take me back." I begged

She stared at me for a second before slowly shaking her head. Her eyes began to fill with tears as she began to close the door but I quickly placed my foot holding it back from closing any further.

"Jason, you have go."

"Y/N. You don't know how hard I'm trying for us. I need you in my life. I'm not the same anymore."

"That's not my problem Jason. You need to get help before we can start talking again." She said while staring into my hazel eyes

"What do you mean I need help? I stopped everything for you just to show you how much I loved you and you're telling me you need more?" I said slightly feeling the anger in my body escalate.

She glanced at me before shaking her head and closing the door without another word. By now, I knew I was too weak to even argue with her. I gave her my whole heart and she seem to not be affected by my words. I took a deep breath and stared at her front door.

I lost her.
