Niall’s POV

As Harry Potter ended, I noticed Audrey had fell asleep again. So had the rest of the girls. Louis and Liam carried their girlfriends to Audrey’s room and Harry and Zayn went to her guest room. Audrey was snuggled under my arm and sleeping peacefully. I didn’t have the heart to wake her, but I didn’t want her to wake up with neck and back problems either from sitting up.

I decided to sneak out from under her and lie her down on her couch. Then I took some of her back couch cushions and made a little bed for me on the floor next to her. I flung a blanket over her and myself. Then I tried my best to go to sleep.

I woke up the next morning to see Audrey gazing at me, her face turned on its side on her couch, making her cheek squish up. It was the most adorable thing to wake up to. “Good morning.” She said in her incredibly hot morning voice.

“Good morning.” I replied, sitting up and stretching my arms above my head. Her couch cushions weren’t actually that bad to sleep on.

“You know you could’ve woken me up last night so we could’ve slept in an actual bed, right?”

“I didn’t have the heart to. You are just so cute when you’re sleeping.” I said, pinching her cheek as she sat up.

“Why thank you, sir.”

“Is anyone else up?” I asked.

“Not that I know of. But I need to shower so if the girls aren’t awake I’m probably gonna wake them up. I still smell like that lake and it’s gross.” She said, sniffing her shirt. “Y’all should all probably shower too.”

“That’s probably a good idea.” I said.

“You can use the downstairs shower and I’ll wake the boys and tell them they can shower too.” She said, standing up from the couch and walking upstairs. I went ahead and went to her downstairs bathroom, using the towel she’d given me last time.

It didn’t take long for me to shower and I was finished in about ten minutes. Maybe less. I decided to go up to Audrey’s room and see if she was done showering.

The girls weren’t in her room, I guess they were with the lads in the other room. I crossed the room and went to her computer desk. There was a thick notebook on it.

Being the nosy person I am, I tipped it open.  The first page was a song. So was the next page. Some pages were just like journal entries. Then there was a divider in the middle and the back was filled with tons of short stories, mostly fantasy. This journal must have had at least a thousand pages in it, it was huge.

I was reading a story about a group of hybrids, part human, part something supernatural, when I heard the bathroom door open. I quickly snapped the book closed, but not before Audrey saw. “Were you reading my journal?” She asked, frozen in her place in the doorway.

I didn’t know what to say. She told us on the first day that her writing was for her. But it shouldn’t be. The little snippets I read were terrific. She crossed her room and placed her hand on top of the closed notebook. “That’s private.” She whispered.

“I’m sorry. I’ll just go.” I mumbled before turning towards the door.

“I’d like it if you’d stay.” She said, just as I was about to exit the room. I slowly turned back around and walked over to her bed, which she was now sitting on. “I’m sorry, it’s just I don’t like it when people read my writing. I only want people to see if it’s perfect, and it never is. Declan, my brother, stole my old journal and read part of it. I cried for almost a week.” She said as I sat down.
