I have never been so scared, or as close to death, before. I fell of my bike as a little girl, and Brock my hand. I thought I was going to die. Then again, I was 7.
Right now, I think I'd rather be 7. I felt sick to my stomach. Dust flew around quietly around in the air. It was dark, with a light coming threw a door way maybe, but a huge fan made into the wall covered the light with every panel that swished around. It wasn't fast at all though. Like it was turned off, but still rotating.
My senses are lagging. I can tell what I smell or feel. My eyes came back first. Than taste.
There was a horrid taste in my mouth. What was it? I move my tongue around to find a cloth tied around back to my neck. I can tell what it is. But I can tell one thing, the taste in my mouth, was blood. Mine.
Touch came next. My hands were tingling like they were asleep. After a minute I tried to take it out but my hands were tied with dry rope under my knees. I was sitting down and my feet were close to me on the floor. The floor, from what I could tell from my finger tips, was dirty. Little pieces of glass, the size of large sand, was scattered around. It felt like the gym floor at my school when it didn't to be cleaned. But it was cold cement, instead of the waxed wooden floor of my gym.
The rope tied my hands to my knees and my knees to my feet. My chest was close to my thighs; I felt like I was restricted to breathing.
The edges of my lips were pulled back by the cloth and my lips were cracking. Just like they all do during this time of year. But they were bleeding.
It tasted horrible. My own blood. Salty and gross. I put my hand on my knees and close my eyes. I watching the light through my eye lids. Then they stopped. I opened them and a large shape stood in the door way.
"Get up" the same voice said that took me.
"We can't idiot" wait, that wasn't me... And, we? Who's we? Now that I think of it, where am I? How am I going to get out? I'm going to have to get out, and quick.
