~Summary~

When Misha begins a relationship with another man, Jensen noticed how Misha began to change and realized that something had to be done, that he needed to do something.

The thing about Misha is that who he is on the outside and who he is on the inside, are two very different people; who he is in in front of fans and who he is in front of family, friends and people he cares about, are two very different people. What people that didn't know him and fans saw in him, was a quick wit, outgoing and confident man, but Misha was a whole hell of a lot more vulnerable than people would know, just by looking at him. Jensen would find that out the hard way.

It wasn't that Misha wasn't strong in other ways. He was the most outspoken person Jensen or Jared knew and had a mouth on him that could rival both of theirs put together. He was amazing at debating things with people, always quick to defend his opinion and always had the evidence to back up his argument. The thing was, Jensen would learn, was that Misha tended to let his guard down too easily, trust people too easily and they would just chock it up to his . Basically, if you were already in Misha's good graces, you could do no wrong.

Jensen would also learn that it was the people he let in that made it easier to hurt Misha, to take advantage of him, if they wanted to, or if pressured enough, they would hurt Misha more than Jensen would have ever believed before the incident.

A while after season seven ended and they had just begun to film season eight, started floating around the crew that Misha had gotten into a 'secret' relationship. Jen soon found out that it was 'secret', because it was a man and he was trying to maintain a certain image while he was on Supernatural for the time being; not quite brave enough to come out to the world, but enough to do it with the crew and Jared and Jen, trusting that they'd keep it quiet. He'd met him somewhere downtown and the two hit it off right away apparently.

Though, they never met the guy and only knew him by Brian, Jensen and Jared were happy for him. A little surprised at first, sure, but happy because Misha seemed happy and they had no reason to feel otherwise.

It was after Thanksgiving break that Jensen started to notice how Misha was changing. How he stopped hanging out with him, Jay, Matt, Richard, Sebastian and Rob. How he would come late to work more often and then spend hours in the makeup trailer after he got there, finally. Jensen just chocked it up to Misha being attached to his boyfriend and the makeup trailer thing was probably just covering up hickeys and love-bites or whatever.

It's shortly before Christmas break, however that Jensen notices Misha's limping and it sparks something in his brain that something was very wrong. It sent chills down his spine and it turned his cold when he asked Misha what happened and he made some lewd comment about being in bed with Brian and now he couldn't walk right. It was the fake smirk that killed Jensen, because now he knew, something awful was going on. Later that day, Jen tried again and watched as something like sadness flitted across Misha's blue eyes, before he blinked and the mask was back up as Misha said, "I already told you". It was then that Jensen knew that he had to do something, even if he didn't know what yet.

Then one day, after the new year rung in and after watching Misha limp around again, but had clearly already healed from the first time, Jensen was too fidgety to not bring it up to Jared. He talked to Jay about everything and maybe if he got his input, he'd have a better idea on what to do.

"I think Misha would know to get out of that kind of situation, don't you?" Jared said as soon as Jensen explained everything. "He's smart and strong, why would he stay with a man that's hurting him?"
