"That's when I saw Robbie  kissing the lion cub" I wailed,  a few sobs choking me. Alaska stared at me, cocking her head. Blinking a few times while drying my tears away I expected an answer. Or at least a comforting and agreeing smile. Instead I got this.
"Maddy....dont you feel that your, you know stringing all boys along, maybe he just got bored, or frustrated or just plain fed up." I looked up my eyesight blurred with salty moist tears. This wasn't what I wanted to hear, I needed comfort not criticism. Alaska sighed and rolled her eyes. I clenched m fists and turned away, the sorrow tears slowly turning to angry tears.
"Get out" I muttered facing away from Alaska.
"What? " she asked putting her hand onto my shoulder I flinched away and repeated it louder this time.
"I said. Get. Out."
Her mouth formed a small 'o'  and she stood up and left my room. I dried my tears on my sleeve and stood up.

"Robbie" I announced my eyes forming small slits focusing on him as I strode forward. He spun around to face me. I could visibly see his eyes widen and a smile spread across his lips, but once he saw my expression it was quickly wiped off.
"Maddy? What's the matter? "
We were around the campfire, so I had an audience. My eyes scanned the crowd searching for the lion cub. After spotting her I clasped her arm and dragged her infront of Robbie.
"I saw you kissing this-this slut- while you were still making me believe we were right for each other. Imagine how that felt for me!" I raised my voice and spat at their feet throwing the lioness to the floor. People started to turn around attracted to the drama. Robbie helped up the lioness as she steadily glared at me,  rubbing her arm.
"First of all she's not a slut. And if you didn't keep sending me these mixed signals we wouldn't have to be having this conversation!"
I scoffed.
The lioness glared at me "And slut? Robbie told me all about you" she said drawling out her words "Luke, then Elliot.  And know Robbie? I think we have the biggest slut of the year here. Want an award? "
I hiss and leapt at her my claws shifting out of my hands. I landed on her faces digging my claws in, drawing out blood. We both let out growls and shrieks. Suddenly I got dragged off her. I narrowed my eyes sending a hiss and spat at her feet. She mimicked my actions, turning to Robbie.
"Come on baby." she drawled out the word 'baby's "Just let her go why leave the big cat to go play with the house cat?" she chuckled to herself "Don't worry, you can always get another one, at the pound!" She laughed, slithering her at'around Robbies. She whispered in his ear. He smiled at her and they walked away, not once glancing back to look at me.

I was stood infront of the judge, the owl staring down at my kitten form. This is stupid. I barely even touched the god damn lion cub. My Mum reckons I'll get more sympathy from them if I act like a jealous teenager. Which I wasn't.
"A year at the pound. "
My fate was sealed. I looked up in shock at the owl.
"A year?!?! "
The owl just shook his head and looked down on me.
"We will not tolerate violence here. I hope this is a warning to all of you." he stood up and left. I narrowed my eyes, clenching my paws, nails digging into my palm. This can't be right, it can't be. I was pulled out of the room by the collar latched firmly around my neck. A small, metal chain was hooked around the front, and I was being lead out by a little door mouse. The irony. A cats prey leading a cat to the most dreaded thing for a cat. The cold, grey, metal, dull pound.
The mouse tugged on the chain; urging me to hurry up. I leapt towards the mouse with my claws out, hissing as I flung myself through the air. The pathetic thing squeaked and scuttled away. I laughed at its flicking tail. I stalked through the door after the mouse to see my Mum shaking her head softly at me.
"Maddy, you're out of control. I- I don't recognise you any more..." She whispered, then she leant her head away from me "Do it." Suddenly, a long need jabbed into my neck. I meowed in alarm before dreariness overtook me and it all went black.

I woke up to see a little girl in a flowery dress, hopping from one foot to another. She squealed in excitement and ran away. I stood up to stretch, my head bumped on a scratchy ceiling above me. I was trapped inside a small metal box with a glass wall, looking in to a room filled with similar boxes, with other animals. It was too small to shift, just big enough to walk around a few steps, with the food and water bowls. Suddenly the little girl came running back, this time holding what I'm guessing was her mothers hand, "This one Mummy! She's so cute!! Look at her white paws!" The woman sighed
"Fine, we'll have this one"
Before I knew it, I was bundled into a carrier, off to my new home. The girl constantly peering in a cooing at me.

Let the punishment commence.
