Half-ghoul love (Kaneki X Reader) [INCOMPLETE]

Chapter 2

Kaneki's Pov
I woke up to see I was facing (y/n). I got up remembering last night. I got up and went to the bathroom I looked in the mirror and saw my left eye was a ghoul eye. If I was going to go outside I would need something to cover it with. I looked in the medicine cabinet and found a medical eye patch inside the first aid kit. There was two. I thought (y/n) would need one too. I got out of the bathroom and sat down on the couch. I set down the other eye patch on the coffee table and headed downstairs. I went down to the coffee shop and saw Yoshimura, "Good morning Kaneki.",Yoshimura said. "Good morning.", I said back. The coffee shop wasn't open yet. "You should get going and go to your apartment to get some things.",he said. I nodded and walked out the door. I walked to my apartment got a backpack and filled it with some clothes. I also took my book-bag and headed back to Anteiku, since I'd be staying there a while. It was still early and it was a weekend, so no one was out I managed to get back to Anteiku before any human saw me. I went back up stairs and found (y/n) awake. "Good morning, (y/n).",I said as I set my book-bag down on the couch and took the backpack and put it in the closet. I picked up the eye patch on the coffee table and handed it to her,"Here put this on, we can't have anyone see your right eye." She took it and put it on and we both headed downstairs. Yoshimura then told us we would work as waiters at Anteiku to help us out. He gave us uniforms and we would start to work tomorrow. I went back upstairs but (y/n) left to her apartment.

Your Pov
I woke up to see Kaneki bring in some of his stuff and giving me an eyepatch the same as his. I put it on and walked downstairs with Kaneki to see Yoshimura, he gave us jobs as waiters at Anteiku, and gave me some breakfast human meat, I ate mine while Kaneki refused, he told me to get some of my things because I would be staying there a for a while. I walked to my apartment and unlocked the door I got some of my clothes into a bag and my book-bag. I locked my apartment and headed back. I got to Anteiku and went to the room to put my stuff up. When I opened the door I forgot to knock and Kaneki was changing and he was shirtless I blushed. He was blushing too. I was about to close the door when he slipped his shirt on. I set my things down and avoided eye contact. There was an awkward silence. I set my stuff down and got a change of clothes, I got into the bathroom and locked the door, I took off my clothes and stepped into a hot shower, the warm water was relaxing. I didn't have any soap so I just rinsed my body off with water. I got out of the shower and got dressed (outfit above), I then towel dried my hair and brushed my hair and parted it to the side. I put on my black and white converse and headed downstairs, I headed to the store to get some things I needed for one thing some soap and some other things. I came back to Anteiku and Yoshimura was going to teach me and Kaneki on how to be a ghoul. He showed us that we could still drink coffee and he showed us how to pretend eat. I couldn't pretend eat because the taste of food would make me gag. Neither did Kaneki we both needed practice. He also told us to be on the lookout for people in a white coat carrying some kind of a briefcase or bag of some sort, and that we needed masks to hide our faces when we're in our ghoul form. Touka would be the one to take us tomorrow after work.

Kaneki's Pov
I was a little surprised to see (y/n) walk in unexpectedly. I just didn't talk about it, even though it got awkward. I soon went downstairs to see the coffee shop was open. I still had questions unanswered, how did I become a ghoul? what am I supposed to do now? I don't belong in this world. How am I supposed to get by? Questions and thoughts filled my head. I soon saw (y/n) come walking down the stairs, she looked beautiful. I never really noticed her beauty. The way her (h/l) (h/c) hair flowed, and the way her (e/c) eyes complemented her skin.  We went to the back with Yoshimura and he said we would work at Anteiku, he gave us our uniforms and I snapped out of it after we were learning how to pretend eat. (Y/n) gave me her uniform to hang up ,and soon left, to go to the store and I was alone I met more ghouls that worked at Anteiku. I also met Renji Yomo who agreed to help me train in fighting, I would start tomorrow. I went back upstairs and started hanging some clothes in the closet next to my uniform, I only took up half of the closet to leave the other half for (y/n) , after I finished I sat on the couch and started reading a book I brought. A few minutes later (y/n) had arrived but just left the stuff she bought and went back downstairs so I continued reading.

Your Pov
I saw Kaneki reading a book like he always does, I walked back downstairs and went to talk with Touka, I needed to get to know her more if we were going to be friends, she was on her break we sat at a table more in the back. I askew do her about why we needed masks and she answered me that we need to hide our faces from the doves or the CCGE , because their mission was to get rid of ghouls. She told me I needed to train to learn how to fight, she agreed to train me later today. I went back upstairs and sat next to Kaneki. "So, Kaneki, how was your day?", I asked breaking the silence. "Oh, it was ok, I met other ghouls.", he said putting his book down. "(Y/n), there's something I need to tell you.", he said getting all my attention."What is it Kaneki?", I asked. "(Y/n) it's just that...I-I... Like you.", he blushed as he finished his sentence. There was an awkward silence. "I like you too, Kaneki.", I said. He immediately pulled me into a hug and I hugged him back. "Oh, Kaneki I am supposed to go train with Touka in a few minutes.",I said breaking our hug and getting up to get a hair tie. I put my hair in a ponytail and went to get a t-shirt and sweatpants and went to the bathroom to change. I then went downstairs to see Touka waiting. She took me underground where ghouls would be able to move around the city where no one would see. I started by trying to get my kagune to come out. I had to get my body used to that feeling. Then it was hand to hand combat, I failed so many times but I was getting a hang of it. It was getting late and we both had to work tomorrow, so we stopped. I went back to Anteiku and Touka went to her apartment. I went upstairs and took a quick shower. I put on a t-shirt and shorts and got into bed. Kaneki was in bed already I layed in bed trying not to bother him, but he wrapped his arms around my waist pulling me close. I felt my face get red but , I then accepted it and fell asleep.
