"Hey! Get the fuck off the street!"

"S-S-Sorry!" I ran off the street into a group of business people, then pushed up against a wall, reflecting this young man's disposition.

A tall man, fresh out of college, an aspiring lawyer, filled with hopes, has made it to the city where dreams become a reality.  He wasn't used to this, but he was here by request.  A request from a familiar three, in which I have know for ages.  Friends since high school, we were inseparable, until we parted ways and went on to live our lives.  Four years later here he was.

"Do you know where 4th street is?" I asked, only to get ignored or cursed at.  "This is pointless...".  With a sigh, I found a newspaper stand and bought a map.  After a couple of hours of wandering, I came upon a quite restaurant, away from the city chaos.  It was called "Cafe Lambda" with the corresponding Greek symbol as a logo.

I walked in and was greeted by the sweet smell of freshly prepared food, ranging from simple french fries, to garlic pasta.  The man working the counter had a 5 o'clock shadow and obviously worked out quite a bit and had a rather stern face.  He wore a white tee and jeans with a green apron with the Lambda symbol on it.  He had jet black hair and had a name tag that read "Vincent".

"What'll ya have?" he said in a deep voice.

"Um...some fries and grilled cheese please"  I said looking away, hesitant to make eye contact.

"Alright...you seem kinda nervous, you new here?" he said with a surprisingly concerning look, the only concerning look I have gotten since I entered this 'Make the impossible, possible' type of city.

"I just...well I got here about 3 hours ago, and I have gotten nothing but rudeness from ever person here, so I just haven't met someone who is genuinely nice, I mean on the way here I was attacked by some poor women named Gwen who needed money, but I spent all of it getting here..It's just...its been hard"  I said with a sigh and with a worried look still not making eye contact.

"Yeah its okay I have been there too" He said with a swift slap on the back "I'll go an get your food, you are probably exhausted"  I was so grateful to meet someone who generally cared, so that was nice.  After a couple hours of getting to know Vincent, who went to Kingston University and came here from Lancaster England, who was kicked out of his home after coming out to his parents, I made my way out  to the apartment  complex down on 4th street, which was conveniently close to the cafe so I'm sure I will be going there often.

I climbed the stairs to the 4th floor and to apartment 44 where I took a breath, and knocked on the door.

"SOMEONE'S AT THE FUCKING DOOR" "I CAN'T GET IT I'M COOKING"  I CAN'T I'M ON TUMBLR" "WELL I CAN'T I'M...oh wait yes I can"

After the myriad of screeching voices ended, the door swung open and I was greeted with a "WHAT DO YOU WANT...Oh wait its you!!!"

This is where we begin our journey.
