Drying up most of my tears I reach for my phone from my back pocket. My vision still blurry from the tears, my hands shaking, and my head pounding from crying so much. Finding Jimin's number I press the call button and wait for him to pick up. There's a couple for rings and then I hear the sweet voice of Jimin.
"Hello?" Jimin asks from the other end of the phone.
"Jimin? It's Mia" I manage to say still wiping a couple tears off my cheeks.
"Oh, HI!" He says very brightly.
"Hi..."
"Are you okay? What's wrong?"
"M-My parents. They are leaving me in Korea while they go to America for their business. They told me I couldn't go because they didn't want to be seen with a worthless child. Am I really that bad? They are leaving me Jimin. I have no one anymore."
"Where do you live? I'm coming to get you. Grab some clothes too." He pauses and I imagine him still thinking of what to do. "Um, where do you live. I was just about to leave but I have no idea where I'd be going."
"There is a park at least two blocks from the school. Meet me there in ten." I say and then he answers with a quick "Okay, hurry though I want you out of there as fast as you can."
I grab some clothes along with my school uniform. Tomorrow is the last day till Christmas Break so I wouldn't really be needing it but I didn't know what Jimin was planning either. I sneak past my parents that were yelling nasty hateful words to each other. I think of how happy we used to be. Goodbye Eomma. Goodbye appa.
When I close the door I hear chairs being tipped over and more yelling. Thank you Jimin. Running towards the park as fast I could feeling the soon winter breeze go across my face making my face pink from the cold. Getting to the park I look at the swings and I see a worried Jimin slightly swinging.
"You realize we've only known each other for one day and you are practically saving me. Thank you." I say and he looks up at me and smiles. I smile back.
"Yes but that doesn't stop me from caring and liking you so much" Even with my cheeks already pink from the cold I feel them get pinker.
"So, about earlier. Do you want to talk about it" He says dropping his smile a bit.
"Um yeah I guess. So, my parents got a call from their business and blah blah blah and I thought since I'm their daughter I would be going too. I guess I got my hopes up to high." A tear rolls down my cheek just thinking about what my father said to me tears me apart.
"Hey, it's okay." He leans over to me and kisses my forehead.
He grabs my hand and gets up leading me over to the curb. We walk along the curb till we reach a slick black car. "This is yours?" My jaw drops seeing that it looked brand new and similar to a mustang. Jimin chuckles slightly and nods his head. We were still holding hands and I smile because he was making silly faces at me and kissy faces. He is so adorable.
We are driving around and I steal some quick glances at Jimin while he was driving. "You said I needed clothes. Where are we going?"
"Your staying with me." He says longing out the "e".
"What will your parents think about me staying with you guys."
"They are on a cruise for a few months and once they come back, they will understand. I promise." He notices my worried look before saying that he promises.
We reach his house and right before walking in he stops me in front of the door smiling really brightly. "Mia, I know its only been one day and this is going to sound very cheesy. It's almost the end of the day though! So I'm counting it as two days. Your going to be living with me, we've kissed atleast four times today and I'm hoping for more of those too. Anyways, will you be my girlfriend?"
"I was hoping you would ask that soon. Of course I will!" He was right. It was kinda cheesy but still the sweetest thing anyone has ever said to me.
