As I hear the rejoicing of my friends, I was down in that special spot. I looked behind me and scowled at it. It was a rotting curtain in a dimly lit corner, but what I don't like is what's behind that rotting curtain. I sighed before walking there and pulling it back. It was the axe that my killer used once long ago.
That is the weapon that Killed Me...
I scowled at it the more before I felt something is wrong.
You Can't Escape the Strings tied to Your Fate...!
I gasped at the voice. My ghostly heart quickened its pace, a chill ran down my spine, I felt a presence of dread behind me... I turned to be met with Balloon Boy with a happy expression. I then looked at the balloons in his hand. They're all surrounding my transparent balloon. Come to think of it... They looked like my necklaces that I gave them... Then it hit me. My eyes widened in shock. "Did they...!" Balloon Boy then nodded his head quickly before I can finish my sentence. I can't help but smile and tackle BB into a hug. I'm just glad that they're really supportive and the fact that they're willing to help me... I'm deeply moved.
3:30 am..
I possessed Aira for one final time. I walked and talked to the little children that approached me. They're all very nice. I looked at a small little group that's sad. I sighed and walked over to them. I stopped two feet away from them. "Is there something wrong children?" I asked softly. They looked at me before nodding. I then walked over to the empty seat in between them. "Do you mind if I sit here with you guys?" I asked again and they smiled before nodding. I then sat beside them. "Is your name Aira?" One of them asked. I nodded and he leapt up off his seat in joy. "Jeremy told me about you! I'm his cousin by the way!" He exclaimed. I laughed and he smirked.
We all soon began to talk about everything. From favorite foods to favorite bands, to favorite songs, to favorite fairy tales. "Hey, do you know the story of a little abbey girl?" I asked them. They gave me confused looks. I slowly shook my head. "Well, let me be the first to tell you then..." I said and they gathered around me.
___________________________Once long ago, there was a little girl that lives in the abbey in the woods. She used to live a happy life with her mother and father... until her family disappeared one day. Her friends turned on her and constantly bullied her until she reached her cold and desolate home.
What happened to her?
No one knows. They never entered her home. No one is allowed to actually. They just thought that home has a curse... Her curse...
That's awful...!
I know it is. But one day, she had enough and ran to the woods, never once looking back at her home. She kept running and running until she reached a big clearing in the woods. Do you know where that lead her?
Oh! I know! She found the abbey!
That's right, she found the abbey. The abbey consisted of mostly the youth. The youth that lead them to the same fate as she did. The little girl soon walked up to the abbey doors and knocked thrice.
Did any of them answered?
Why the Reverend Mother answered the door. Seeing the poor child, she took her in and raised her like her own.
Things turned back to normal afterwards right?
Yes, the abbey them began to spread rumors about a missing little girl from the city. Thinking is was the little girl, they never told them about her disappearance. They took this as a sign that they should never mistreat children like her badly ever again.
Did they all live happily ever after?
Well... Maybe not all of them... But all I can tell you is that she loved living in the abbey, where everyone will be treated not as enemies, but as equals...
___________________________They clapped in joy and I bowed my head. I then excused myself from the table an walked over to Toy Freddy, who seems free to talk to. "You did well Marielle. I'm sure the kids enjoyed talking to you." He whispered to me. I smiled and hugged him for a brief moment before rushing to the back room and let my puppet sleep. I smirked before flying back to that special spot.
But why do I feel an unshakable dread is heading this way...?
You Can't...
