As a ghost, it's really hard not to get noticed. But once you got the hang of it, it will be on instinct. I floated behind my little puppet as she muttered some things I know. I watched as she walked away with her axe she found earlier. I caught up to her, only to find her changing into her sleep clothes. I took over at this point. I lay down on the pillow and lay on the make-shift bed Jeremy made for her... Or rather, for us... I just wanted to sleep... Sleep... Sleep the pain away... But I couldn't... So I stopped controlling her and she got up. "... Why can't you sleep...?" She asked me. I just looked down. To be honest, I don't remember how to sleep anymore... I've been up for... I don't know how long... But I just know that I haven't been sleeping for years... I sat on my knees and cried again. "... I miss them..." I admitted. I felt a pair of arms wound around me, only to find Jeremy hugging behind my back and his face holds a sad and solemn expression. "Who-" "I know how lonely you feel..." I was shocked when he just cut me off like that, but nonetheless, I stayed quiet. "I know you aren't like the others." He continued. I turned to him and hugged back. He pulled away and gave me a big smile, a smile I've always wanted to do. He noticed my change in attitude and pat my head lovingly. I flinched at first, but soon liked the feeling. I didn't notice that my mouth started to form a small smile as he continued to do this. It was only when I gave a small chuckle, I felt him pull his hand away slightly. "Hey, you're smiling...!" He whispered. I looked at him and I smiled wider. He begins to laugh and I joined him. What we didn't know is that he's been up all morning and we didn't notice this until we hear footsteps near the door. We slowly looked at the clock. 12:30 pm. "Has it been that long...?" I looked at him sadly as he yawned. He lay beside my little puppet as I lay above him. "I never got your name by the way." He whispered. I smile a gentle smile and whispered my name. "My name... Is Marielle... Riviera..." He gasped. "I know a friend who-" He didn't finish his sentence as I showed him my necklace. He was in a state of shock, but then he slowly smiled again. "I remembered it so well... So this is what it does...?" He asked softly as he pulled out his and I shrugged with a smile still present on my face. He moved up and kissed my forehead before moving back down to his pillow and yawned one last time. "Goodnight Marielle..." He said in a very hushed tone. I kissed his forehead sweetly when he's finally asleep as I lay on the floor above his head, my eyes starting to flutter close.
"Goodnight Jeremy..."
