Powers

(Starshine P.O.V.)

I rushed home,thinking about what had just happened.I was nonplussed."Mom!Dad!"I yelled slamming the door open.

"What is it."Mommy ask worried.I looked at my hands for a second,"I have powers."I said Trying to stay calm.

"I knew this day would come."

"WAIT YOU KNEW!"I freaked out.

"Yes,your dad has powers too."

I froze as everything around me started spinning.I saw a flicker Of gold.I couldn't help but think,"Why!"

"Well cause your dad does."

I stopped spinning and everything returned to normal."Woops I didn't mean to say that out loud!"I laughed.

"We'll talk to your dad about your powers."Mom said.

-Later-

"So you say you have powers?"Dad said walking around me.I nodded."Well that is ok because your a..."He stopped his sentence.

"What what?"I panicked.

"It doesn't matter, it's just in your blood."

I looked at my arm."What does that mean?"I asked.

"Well it mean you were born with it, but some powers like my teleportation."He said disappearing.I felt a tap on my shoulder and he was right behind me."Cool can I do that?"I asked.

He thought for a second,"Try."He said."Just think hard on where you want to go ,it will get easier."

I thought about being outside.I felt particles all around me and bam,I was outside!"Cool!"I said!

I walked back inside."Now we need to train you!"He said."we'll have to do it tomorrow."

-The next day-

I shot a Energy ball at my dad.He deflected it and used an energy beam.(Man He fights hard)I healed myself by holding my hands on my wound.I teleported and Pushed him down.He took out a sword."WAIT WHY DO YOU HAVE A SWORD!"I yelled teleporting away.

He smiled and charged.I panicked and Energy balled him.He used his sword and it came back at me.I got hit and fell.He stopped and smiled."Your getting so close."He said helping me up.

He healed me and we went inside.Mom was making dinner."Im hungry."I said sitting down.I couldn't wait I had powers as I had a friend."Im a going to see Zac tomorrow."I smiled at mom out my plate of food on the table.My parents sat down and ate.

"Dad...What am I?"I asked.He froze and stared.He didn't seem to have an answer."Your a Dark Brine."He said slowly.I felt a cold chill go down my spine.

"What's that?"I asked.He got up,"That doesn't matter."I finished my food and got up too."Im a go to my room."I said going upstairs.

I jumped on my bed and grabbed my book."Time to read."I said.I couldn't read though,I felt someone watching me.
