Chapter Six

Did I just tell Tonks I loved her?

Yep....

I sure did.

And I meant it too.

"I love you too, Remus." she replied, pulling me out of my trance.

I then did something I thought I would never do.

I kissed her.

Tonks didn't have to enforce it.

We both melted into the kiss and each other.

"I love you." I sighed.

"I love you too." she answered.

"I'll walk you to your common room." I said, holding out my arm for her to take.

"Sure." she smiled.

Tonks and I walked to the Hufflepuff common room. We talked about our duties as prefects and our families.

I found out that her mother was Narcissa and Bellatrix Black's sister. Narcissa and Bellatrix got married early so she is Malfoy now. Her mother, Andromeda Tonks, was disowned by 'the noble house of Black.'

After I dropped Tonks off at the Hufflepuff common room and a small kiss, I headed back to the Gryffindor common room.

"Moony, where were you?" James asked.

"I dropped Tonks off at the Hufflepuff common room." I explained.

"Moony's got a girlfriend! Moony's got a girlfriend! Moony's got a girlfriend!" Sirius sang.

"Shut up, Padfoot. Is that lipstick on you're cheek?" I asked Sirius as Peter and James looked at Sirius and laughed.

"Is that lipsick on yours?" sSirius asked, mockingly.

I looked at the full length mirror in the bathroom with Sirius. Sure enough, we both discovered lipsick on both of our cheeks, while James and Peter were cracking up in the main room.

"Why didn't one of you gits tell me I had lipstick on my cheek?" Sirius growled at James and Peter.

"Sorry mate, we didn't notice until Moony brought it up." James snickered.

"So who was kidding you tonight, Remus?" Sirius grinned.

"I'll tell you if you tell me. If it isn't obvious." I grinned.

"I can guess both." James smirked.

"Tonks and Anna." James answered.

"Bullseye." I grinned.

"Right." Sirius smirked.

"I thought you didn't like Anna, Sirius." Peter smirked.

"She's very persuasive." Sirius grinned.

The night passed smoothly as we all fell asleep.

I woke up first, as always. I went to go wake up James, Peter, and Sirius. They were in some id the oddest positions. James was grasping onto his pillow, Peter was curled into large ball, and Sirius was sprawled out across the whole bed.

"Wake up sleeping uglies!" I yelled at them.

"You're only jealous because I'm hotter than you." Sirius groaned, as they all dragged themselves out of bed.

"You keep thinking that, Padfoot." I chuckled.

"Come on guys, we have our first day of classes today." I smiled as they groaned.

"All the more reason to stay in bed." James whined.

"Come on, you can see Anna, I can see Tonks, and you can see Lily." I added.

"Oh... Is that the reason you want us to get up? So you can go snog with Tonks?" Sirius laughed.

"No." I said stubbornly.

"Remus wants to go and snog Tonks!" James yelled.

"I will hex you." I hissed.

"Dear Moony would never shoot at spell at us would he guys?" Sirius cooed.

"I don't know guys, he looks a little pissed." Peter said quietly.

"Yeah right like Remus would ever do tha -"

"Rictusempra!" I yelled, pointing my wand at Sirius.

"What was that for?" James asked shocked, while Sirius was clutching his sides on the floor laughing.

"To show you, I'm not afraid to shoot a spell at you." I snapped.

James stared at shocked, at me then started laughing. James then high fived me and said,"Nice one!"

After Sirius stopped laughing he said, "I know the perfect muggle song for this situation!"

"Remus and Tonks sitting in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-"

"Rictusempra!" I said lazily, pointing my wand, once again, at Sirius.

"His mum's gonna make him wash his mouth for singing a muggle song." James snickered.

"Maybe I should send his mum an owl." I laughed.

"N-n-noo!" Sirius said, laughing.

"Let's think... Dear Mrs. Black, your son is being a rightful git and is singing muggle songs. How's that sound, James?" I said, and pretended to write it down on a bit of parchment.

"Remus?" Sirius asked fearfully as the laughter wore off.

"Yes?" I asked back.

"You're not really writing that, are you?" Sirius smirked, knowing that I haven't been writing any of it.

"How did you know?" I asked, amazed.

"You just told me." Sirius smirked.

"Curse you." I muttered.
