You and Carl were talking and laughing and having a great time in his cell y'all have been best friends for a while now you never told him that you had a crush on him you were to afraid of what his reaction would be so you just kept it to yourself you were snapped out of your thoughts by him talking to you.
"Hey are you okay you've been acting funny" he said kinda worried
"Ummmm yeah I'm fine what about you" you said and laughed trying to hide the fact that your not
"Yeah why wouldn't I be dork" he said and laughed along with you
Y'all kept talking about how life would be if the apocalypse wouldn't have happened and what you would have done let just say it was a very deep conversation for the both of y'all.
"(Y/N) can I ask you a question" Carl asked
"Yeah you can ask me anything" you said and just smiled at him
"Do you have feelings for anyone" he asked and looked down
"Yeah why" you said and smiled at him
"Ummm because I have feelings for this girl and I don't know how to tell her that I like her and I'm afraid that she'll turn me down" he said and looked up at you
"Then just tell her I promise she won't turn you down" you said
"I just did" he said and moved closer to you
"Oooh ummm I like you too I mean I like you a lot actually" you said a started to move closer to him
"Then let's do something about it" he said
