"...but he should still be alright."
"Thank you."
I hear whispers as I open my eyes. People are behind me, and I know who they are, and I continue to listen to the conversation.
"Now, I will give you a list of things that need to be done in order to keep him well as we cannot keep him in much longer."
"Wait," exclaimed the second voice, "I'm in charge of him? I'm the general."
"You seem to be the only one he trusts." I blush when the nurse says this.
"Oh, uh, um, well, okay, I guess..." the male voice stutters. I hear a sheet of paper being flapped in the air. I love that sound. Woosh woosh woosh whfhiwrehfrwoosh. "Thank you, doctor."
"Nurse," she corrects, shutting the door closed. I now realize that I am in my own room. My cheeks flush terribly.
"I guess you'll be with me from now on," I say, interrupting the silence.
"For the next three and a half months, yes," General Hux informs me, "which is how long it will take for you to heal. Sir, I advise that you lie down and get some rest."
"I think I'm good," I infer, attempting to get off of my bed. As soon as I try, an excruciating pain takes over and I immediately fall back. "Never mind."
General Hux snickers. "Lie down and you'll be fine. As long as you stay like this." He comes over to me and shifts my body into the correct position.
He walks over to the other side of the room and pours into his hand something from a small, white plastic bottle and brings it over to me. "Here," General Hux says, handing me the medication. I put it in my mouth and swallow it with a bit of water. It tastes like poo.
A moment of silence passes. I sigh. "So..."
He does nothing.
"What am I supposed to do for three months?"
"Stay there."
"Nah." I attempt to leave the bed once again, but this time managing, while taking about three minutes, to stand up, and I walk towards the door. Just as I am about to open it, Hux speaks up again.
"Woah," he says, running towards me and pushing me onto the bed, "you're not going anywhere."
I cross my arms and pout. "I don't need a babysitter."
"Well, I mean--" I cut General Hux off as I use the Force to choke him and lift him in the air. He grabs his throat and struggles to breathe.
"Never. Talk back to me. Again." I let go, dropping him to the floor. He looks at me in disbelief, as if he thought I would never do that to him. Using the Force drained the energy from my body, so I lie back down. I pant, my arm hurts, and my legs feel like they've been chopped off. My eyes open wide and I look down and scream.
"The hell is wrong with you?"
"MY LEGS ARE GONE! I CAN'T oh wait, never mind. They were under the blanket." I lift it up and sigh in relief. The general drops his head and facepalms himself.
"Lord Ren I swear if you act like this I will leave you to take care of yourself," Hux says. I look at him.
"That's fine," I snap back. "I know how to take care of myself."
"No offense, sir, but I don't think you even know how to boil water."
I huff and cross my arms again. "Don't talk to me."
"Will do." General Hux walks away, his heels clicking against the floor.
"Wait," I say, holding out my hand. "Come back." He looks at me. "I have to tell you something. But it's a secret."
Hux nods his head and walks closer to me.
My heart starts beating faster, my cheeks flushing. I don't know why. Why is this happening? I think. Do I have an affection towards him? I watch him as he gets onto his knees by my bed and puts his arms on it, leaning towards me to listen to what I have to say. I lean closer, and just as I am about to do *something*, I hear a knock on my door.
"Lord Ren, sir, are you in there?"
I look at General Hux. "Yes, ma'am. The door is open."
Hux walks over to the medicine cabinet to put the pills away as Captain Phasma walks in. "Good afternoon, gentlemen. I just wanted to let you know that there will be a meeting at nineteen-hundred tonight.
"Of course, Captain."
"General, I need you to bring the plans as well." General Hux nods his head and says, "They are with me at all times, Captain. I can assure you they will be there."
Captain Phasma nods her head and walks out, slamming the door behind her.
"Lord Ren, I must be on my way. If you need me, you know what to do." I do? "Don't leave this room."
"I can't make any promises," I say. He looks down and smiles and laughs, and I smile back, and he walks out of the room, and I lay my head down onto the pillow, thinking about life.

Hello, my babies!I know this is kind of short, but when you have a fanfiction about characters you don't have a whole ton of information about, it's not gonna be like an actual book book.
But I hope you like it anyway, and I have come to a schedule where I will update a chapter every Saturday around 3pm U.S. Eastern time (Noon at Pacific). That way you know exactly what time to expect a new chapter.
Well, I guess I'll see you guys in the next chapter.
