"Josh, what did Ky- I mean Mr. Arias do exactly?" I asked. Josh looked at me with a puzzled expression. "Well, I heard you talking to Andrea. I'm guessing you butt-dialed me. All I heard was that he kissed you. I got so angry I called his school phone. Another girl answered the phone. She told me she saw Mr. Arias kiss you and you told him to stop but he kept going after you. She said you barely ran after she told him to stop. She was going to leave when the phone rang. Then he walked in after he was done chasing after you and she handed him the phone. Josh explained everything to me.
This was impossible. None of this happened. Should I tell him the truth? Should I tell him I kissed him back? Or should I leave it as it is? I needed to know who this girl was though.
"Did she tell you her name?" I asked. "Yeah, I think it was Georgia." He said. My heart fell to my stomach and my mouth dropped open. Could she have seen us when she walked by? Multpile questions flooded my mind. I can't believe she would actually do this! Actually, that's not a surprise, she's a dinosaur with curly, shiny hair and cherry lip gloss. She went too far.
Maybe you should know why I have this certain hatred towards her. In sophomore year I had a boyfriend named Matt. He said he loved me, that was a lie. During lunch, Matt was ahead of me in the line. I lost him in a group of people. Once I found him I saw him talking to Georgia. I already disliked her, I mean she's a snot, ever since freshman year.
I admit I was a little jealous. I didn't worry because I was stuck on Matt's promise that he loved me.
I couldn't stop looking over though, they were constantly laughing and smiling at each other. I finally took a seat when they sat down together.
I watched them carefully. I wasn't surprised when she leaned in ot kiss him. I half-expected him to push her away but they were already this far. He finally did and hurt flew over me. He let her kiss him, but that's not the worst part. He kissed her back. I stood up from my seat and began to walk out of the building. I glanced over at them and saw Georgia smirk as me as I wiped the tears. I fianlly got out of the place and sat down on the brick ledge. I couldn't face them.
Matt tried getting me back but forgiveness never crossed my mind. I have to say I'm kind of happy he never went for her again. They never ended up together.
He was a senior last year, I'm even surprised he even went for me. He doesn't go to the school anymore, obviously, he goes to a local community college. I heard he got a new girlfriend. Maybe he truly does love her. Him and Georgia are the reason I can't trust anyone will and ever love me again.
When Josh found out things got bad. Matt showed up a couple days after the incident with a black eye. He told everyone it happened at baseball practice but I knew Josh caused it. I got home and Josh and I got into an argument.
*Present*
Josh said he loved me and will never let anything happen to me. He walked to the door and opened it. He left it ajar as he grabbed his keys and his wallet. "In a while, jerk." He said to me. "Later, loser." I mumbled as I plopped down on the couch.
