Chapter 1: Falling into Death..

I put on a black t-shirt of Lord Death's skull logo,black jeans,and red converse. I walked down the stairs,deciding I should go buy food for my sister and I.

I get to the living room and see my sister lazing about on the couch,texting her friends,as always. I ask my sister what she would even want me to bring. "Anything big bro,as long as it's not fish." I giggled out loud and had the need to jokingly argue with my sister. "I wonder why the hell you would think I would bring you fish as take out food." She looks at me and rolls her eyes,even though I saw that she suppressed a chuckle too. "It's just gross,okay?" She said back. "Don't worry sis,fish are friends,not food." We laughed a little together at the reference. "I can get pizza." She nods at me with a smile and I go out.

Being alone outside,the thoughts came back to me..our parents left us when my sister was only 3 years of age and I was recently 7 years old. They never came back. So our grandmother takes care of us now,but I usually do everything in the house. I'm not complaining,I don't really mind. Taking care of my family is necessary.

I got to the pizzeria,ordered a slice of bacon pizza and a slice of extra cheese pizza,the way I knew my sister loved. I made sure to pay the lady and found a seat to wait for the order. As I sat I started thinking about the last episode I saw of Soul Eater. What can I say? I love Soul Eater. The first time I saw it,I connected with Soul and Maka,they are amazing. 'I wish I could be a meister..'

I was snapped back out of my thoughts by the lady calling me over to hand me my to-go order. I took it and when I got to the door,I could have sworn I heard some type of broadcast warning from a TV nearby,but I did not pay much mind to it. 'Maybe a drill.' When I got home I could not find my sister in the living room,but I guessed she was in her room. I go to the kitchen and put her slice on a plate as I loudly called her down. "Sis I got your pizza!" Weird..no answer. Even the slightest mention of food was enough to bring her down here in a flash.

I turned on the TV and all of my thoughts suddenly changed,I was not mistaken on the warning I had heard before. The TV displayed only one message in big and bold letters.

Below it,only the best routes to evacuate. I frantically looked at my watch. 'Wait what!? 6:09pm!? Shit,it's gonna..'

My thoughts were shut off in their process,replaced by worry..when I started hearing a rumbling sound and I knew it was nearing me. I ran to go outside,only to notice the family car...was gone. Logically meaning my sister and my grandmother left. I felt the trembling of the earth below me,only to look down to notice the pavement start opening up.

I started to run,but the earth was falling apart around me,as I attempted to turn back,I fell..knowing it was the end.

~Time skip~

I held my head,feeling a sudden pain. But I ignore it,making an attempt at standing. Noticing that I was in some kind of city. It all looked familiar..but the headache was not gonna help my memory. When I tried to walk I started to feel dizzy,before I collapsed back onto that hard ground. 'Who knows how long I have been laying here.' I thought as I could feel blood slowly drip down from the back of my head to my neck. Proof that I had fallen hard and I was still alive..but..where? I saw the faint outline of a girl approach me..before everything went black again.

I woke up in a hospital-like bed and got up looking around. Weird..everything looks familiar. Pale green walls..black shelves..even the placements of the objects seemed familiar. I get up and go outside and what I saw,shocked me. I had to be dreaming or maybe I was dead after all and someone placed me in my own heaven. The sign read none other than..

DEATH CITY

I had fallen into Death City..
