When Mom said we were moving, I was a bit upset, but mostly excited. France is really big and we've been living in (State) for as long as I can remember. It's such a small state and most people rarely think about the state alone.

I pack my bags to leave as I see the beautiful sun begin to disappear beyond the horizon.

Remembering my video diary, I grab my camera in excitement. Ever since Dad moved to work in Illinois, I've been making daily, short videos about what's been going on lately with me and Mom.

"Hey Dad!" I begin,"We're finally moving in to Paris like how you always wish we would. We're just finishing up packing our bags to leave for the flight! Oh, oh, oh! Look! The sun is just setting." I turn the camera toward the sun and back to me with a smile and a wave. Then I end the video with a simple Goodbye.

I turn off the camera and send it to my father. It won't be much trouble in Paris, though. My family originated in Paris, and no matter where we were, we always spoke fluent French. We enjoyed their culture, food, religion, and so on. I've heard of this hero, Chat Noir. I don't know what it is about him, but I've always been very fond of him, noticing his flirtatious ways with Ladybug.

Ladybug is so lucky to have a guy like Chat by her side, yet she turns him down each time. I've always wondered her deal by turning down him. Clearly he works hard to woo her.

"(Y/n), its time to go for the flight!" My mother calls. I zip up my backpack and run downstairs to race Mom to the car in excitement.

I take all of my mom's bags and push her into the car to get it started as I place all of the suitcases into the trunk. My mom laughs and works up the car. I slam the trunk as I sprint into my seat, pulling over my seat belt.

There we go... We drive down the road as I fell asleep a few times in the car. My mom took embarrassing pictures of my drooling. I told her to delete it, but she already posted it to Facebook. I groaned. She always does these kinds of things to me.

Ignoring my frustration, I zoom out of the car as we arrive at the airport.

I whack the trunk open as I grab all of my things, jumping from foot to foot on the hot ground. My mom giggles a little as she gently takes her things out. Ever so slowly, she gives me a smile and closes the slightly bent trunk. The face wasn't all joy, though. It was the I love you, but I will damage you if you damage my things look.

I gulp a bit, but still hop around like a maniac being as anxious as I always am. I take out my camera to take video of the events.

"Hey dad! We just got to the airport to set off for Paris! I'm really excited like my feet to go to Paris, away from this flamed ground! So if you could text me back when you get the chance, I will definitely respond as soon as I get the message. So bye!" I point the camera to Mom and urgely whisper, "Say bye!" My mom smiles and waves goodbye and I turn off the video.

I send it to my father as I grab Mom's wrist to go into the airport.

The flight was a bit long, but it wasn't a big deal. I drooled some more, but neither me or my mom cared, since she already has a picture. When I wake up, we arrived at Paris.

My mom taps me on the shoulder to remind me that we're here. I make a tiny squeal and grab my bags from above me. I run off the flight as the flight attendant calmly reminds me No running.

I sigh as I slow down a bit when I walked past her. As I reach the building filled with Tourists, I push through them to get through the exit to finally reach the amazing Paris!

As I walk through, I smell the fresh air as I hear someone else take a sniff. I take a look around to see Chat Noir.

"Ah the fresh smell of tourists," He puffs from his big breath. He catches my eye looking at him as his face blanks followed by a smirk.

"Why hello, my lady." I blush, trying to hold in my inner fangirl.
Considering my mom is standing right next to me, I give him a smile followed by a simple wave and walk off.

Author's note:

So if you haven't noticed, I deleted the original story I had because it was very short and little detailed and didn't have much story to it, so I decided to remake it with more story and longer chapters. (The message in these parentheses was too embarassing and cringey for me to keep up)
