Chapter 6

You stumble back some but stand your ground. You look up, seeing that it's Adrien! You blush a bit, but hold your sleeve up to your face to hide it.

"Hey, I saw your mask broke, and I was wondering if I could help fix it?" he asks. A tingly feeling fills your body before you begin to smile. You quickly nod and walk away, catching up with the crowd.

"Wait!" Adrien hollars at you. You abruptly stop at the sound and turn around. When you do, Adrien is close. You almost bumped into him, or even kissed him. You stare into his dreamy green eyes as he begins to speak.

"Where are we going to fix the mask? Yours or my house?" He softly speaks.

"Your house is fine," You say as calmly as possible. He puts his hands on your shoulders and nods. He gives you his address before he walks away. You stand there, shocked at what just happened.

"Come on! Don't just stand there like an idiot! You look dead," whispers Kiara. You make a small hiss sound after you continue walking. You look down at the address, still walking. You look up when you hear the sound of a bus. You run, frantically waving your arms, signaling the bus driver to stop. He doesn't see you and continues to drive away.

You sigh until you hear a familiar male voice. "Did you need a ride?" He chuckles. You turn to see Adrien again. You rub your neck.

"Kind of..." you respond.

"Then hop on in!" He says. You stand there, before walking towards his car. (I understand that Adrien uses a limo as transportation, but I just decided that he sometimes drives a car for this fanfic.) You open the car door and go in.

"So where do we need to go to fix the mask?" he asks. You look up, becoming more comfortable with Adrien.

"We need to go get some super glue at a pharmacy." He nods, keeping his eyes on the road.

You finally arrive at the pharmacy after Adrien stops the car.

"Do you wanna come with me?" asks Adrien. You look up at the pharmacy until finally shaking your head no. He gets out the car and walks towards the building. Bored, you fall asleep in the car, waiting for Adrien. When he comes back, he notices you sleeping and pets your head before starting up the car.

When you wake up, you find yourself in a comfortable bed, hugging a giant stuffed dog. You look around, seeing Adrien by your side! You feel his hand rubbing your leg before you jump up. Adrien quickly looks at what happened, wide eyed. You rub your neck in embarrassment to realize nothing happened. Adrien chuckles and continues to watch the television.

"Are you ready to glue the mask?" you ask.

"Ready? I'm finished!" He picks up the mask to show you that it's in one piece. You gasp and take it in your hands. "But be careful, I don't know if the glue has completely dried yet."

You put it down on the table again before you ask," How long have I been sleeping here?"

"About maybe 20 or 30 minutes." You stand in shock.

"I'm sorry I have to get home!" Adrien looks up at you with a simple goodbye as you begin to call your mom.

"Hello? Who is this?" Asks an unfamiliar, husk male.

"I'm (Mom name)'s daughter," you answer, confused.

"Oh..." he waits," I don't know how to let this off to you gently, but..." He stops before finally saying after what seems forever. "Your house kind of burned down, and your mother died in the fire..."

You stop at the words, getting on your knees in front of Adrien's house, a tear streaming down your cheek. You look up to see a big monster, puffing out a dangerous gas.
