I open my eyes. I'm in what looks like a silver box the size of a coffin, same shape too. Am I dead?
All around me there is a bright yellow glow. The worst thing was, I couldn't move. It felt like ever bone in my body was concrete. It was warm. Way warmer then it should be. It started getting warmer and warmer!
I looked down at the back of my hand and froze. My hand was slowly wrinkling into red flakes that peeled off like a sunburn. More and more of my hand started peeling, I watch it make its way up my arm like a disease spreading inside of me.
It's burning and I can barley concentrate. I can feel the tingle as the rest if my arm burns to ash, then my other arm. It hurts more and more as it spreads. When it got up to my legs I was screaming in agony. My legs and arms are ashes now it's eating its way up my stomach. It reaches me neck and I force myself to scream.
"HELP!" I scream. "IM ALIVE, SOMEONE HELP ME!" My scream echoes in the small coffin, I continue to scream though. It's finally spread all through me and all over my face. I frantically make one more scream for help but give up. Everything went black.
I open my eyes and I'm standing in a hospital. There is no burning, all my body parts are normal and attached, it seemed as if nothing happened. I'm wearing a doctors uniform and my name tag says Sutton. That's my name, sutton, but I'm not a doctor! I'm a normal teenager that goes to salines valley high school in California!
I look about in the 30s!
All the sudden my feet start moving, but it doesn't feel like it. It's almost like I'm looking through her eyes and not even in her body. Well my body I guess.
I walk through the double doors that say Emergency above it. Someone greeted me, I had no idea who they were but sutton replied. After passing what seemed to be 100 doors she stopped at the last one. Looking back I saw that this hallway was not kept neat.
Down at the end of the hall where we were there was not a person in sight. Sutton unlocked the door with and old looking key and went into a dark room. She flicked a switch that made a loud pop sound as if the lights rarely ever got turned on.
There was a table and at the end of the table there was a man. He was in his late 20's I guessed. He looked really scared and when she walked in the room almost a look of terror crossed his face, but only for a second. He haven't shaved for a wile and his hair was a mess of short studs sticking out.
The room smelled like burning rubber and bleach. It was about as big as a bathroom and had baby blue walls with staines and dirt all over them, at least it looked like dirt.
There were two doors, the one that we went in too and one in the back. Sutton calmly walked up to the man and sat in the chair next to him.
"Where is it?" She said in a demanding, horse voice.
"It's over here miss" the man said with a shaky voice like his life depended on giving sutton whatever she needed.
He walked over to a door in the back of the small room, pulled out a key, and unlocked the door. He motioned for sutton to go inside. She stepped into the room and looked around.
This room was big but had the same look as the room before. On one side of the room there was a machine. I realized we were in a Crematorium!
Sutton stared at the machine. At that moment i felt a very strong feeling i had never felt before and it was coming from sutton. It was almost like anger, sadness, and hope at the same time. I could tell she dreaded to see what was inside.
The man looked at her confused "aren't you gunna open it? Don't you wanna see your ashes?" He snickered like it was funny to him.
What he had said made sutton extremely mad for some reason. The anger took over in her and she pulled out a gun she was storing in her belt.
"OPEN IT" she screamed at the man as tears fell from her eyes like rain drops.
The man, now scared and almost paralyzed, moved over to the machine and slid out the coffin that was inside. He winced at the heat of the coffin but didn't take his hand off of it.
Sutton slowly moved towered it with her gun still aimed at the man. She looked in it and with tears pouring down her cheeks now she saw what she had dreaded all alone.
The man knew that sutton would not let him live and so did i. He tried making a run for it but she pulled the trigger. Blood splattered on the wall behind the man and he fell to the ground.
Sutton weeped even more. I didn't understand why and i don't think i could. She dropped her gun and ran for the door.
She ran down out of the room with the table almost knocking it down in the process. She ran down the halls of the hospital and out into the street. She ran in front of a taxi and got hit.
Pain swelled up through me as she hit the car. She had committed suicide and yet why was it hurting me. The pain was so overwhelming like it was happening to me!
I screamed in pain and so did sutton, and for the last moments we were the same. Together on the street in pain. Then i fell into darkness once again.
