Chapter Nineteen

Nick got up, and walked towards the other kids. "Hey." Nick said to Newt. "Hey!" Newt said back. Nick looked at the girl Newt was talking to. "This is Cel. She went through the same situation we did-"

"I know." Nick said. "Liam here, told me." Nick walked up to Cel. "Nice to meet ya." He said. "Nice to meet you too!" She smiled, Nick smiled back.

Stiles, Div, Allison, and a new girl, Katie, walked over. "Hey, guys." Allison said. "We need to get out of here, now. We need to look around." Nick looked around, and heard a call from the other side of the room. "Hey!" He heard Katie said.

They all rushed over. "I found a door." She remarked. Nick looked at the door, and backed up. "Here goes nothing!" Nick ran at the door, jumping into it, expecting it to break. Nick hit into the door, his arm making a loud cracking noise. He fell to the ground, and yelled. "OWW!" He said. He heard the others laughing.

"What are we going to do now?" Div said. They all tried breaking down the door, nothing. Then, through the window at the top of the door, a boy walked by. The same one down in the scorch from WICKED earlier. "YOU!" Nick yelled, running up to the door. "Let us out, NOW!" The boy looked around, and opened the door.

He rushed in, and closed in quietly. Nick picked up the kid by the collar, and smashed him into the wall. "Let us leave. NOW!" Cel came up to Nick. "Nick, let him down. He won't talk if you do this to him." Nick let him down, much like the situation in the scorch. "Listen, I can get you out of here." He said. "You can?" Div came up behind Nick,  responding. "Yes... But a few of you may die. It's very dangerous"

"What do we have to do?" Stiles asked. "Well, I have the hey to get out of the room. We have to make it to the top of the building. A secret room. There, there is a self-destruct button hidden in a closet. Then, you guys have to run for your lives to leave before it goes down. Got it?"

They all looked at him, freaked out. "Uhh... Yea." Nick responded. "What's your name?"

"Adam."

They all gathered at the door, and got ready. "You guys ready?" Nick asked. They all slowly shook their heads, and he saw Newt and Div grip hands. "Then.. Let's go." Adam unlocked the door, and they all snuck out.

They finally all got to the top door, silently taking out guards along the way. Adam showed Nick the way of the button. "Well... This could be the end of us." Nick said. "If anything happens, then I want you to all know... You died heroes." Nick pressed the button, and the whole place began to shake. "Crap..."  Nick said, and the whole floor exploded. They all fell, but luckily they gripped on to the reminding bits of floor.

"AHH!" Liam screamed. His claws were clawed into the remaining floor, but all of a sudden a piece of a rock fell on his head, knocking him down. All the floors must have exploded, because they were hanging very far up. "NOO!" Nick screamed, and he jumped. He grabbed Liam.

They fell, Nick felt like he was falling forever. Nick smashed his back into the ground. "AHH!" He yelled, and Liam rolled out of his hands. Nick lay there, bleeding everywhere. He looked up to see Liam, who had his hand out. "Cmon!" He said. Nick grabbed his hand and got up.

They called to the others up at the top, hanging. "GUYS! WELL BE BACK UP THERE IN A MINUTE!" Rocks and boulders were falling over them. "Liam... The whole place is going to blow soon. We need to save them, now."

"Than what are you doing, cmon!" They ran outside, and climbed the building from the outside. They jumped onto a balcony, but there was gasoline all over the floor. "What?" Liam said. "What the hell?" Nick said, walking over it. Then, coming from the doorway, came Adam, with a match in his hand. "Hello, Alpha's." he smiled.

Nick looked at him, angry. "Adam... What are you doing?" Adam stopped into the gasoline with Liam and Nick. "This was all a plan, Nick. Separate you guys from your stupid friends, then kill you both. Then they will all die in the explosion. Without you two, they don't stand a chance."

"Adam, please... Don't do this!" Liam shouted. "Oh, Liam, just watch me."
"NO!" They both screamed, but then heard someone screaming. Out of the doorway came Newt, screaming "NOO!" Newt grabbed Adam, and jumped off the ledge... Together. "NEWT!!!" They both screamed at the top of their lungs. Newt and Adam fell far done so they were no longer seen. They landed in the gasoline dripping down, and the match fell in. They exploded.

"Newt..." Nick said. "No..." Liam responded. Nick began to cry, but the cry was cut off by the explosion of the WICKED Facility. Nick and Liam launched miles away into the sand, face first. Nick put his hands into the sand, and looked at the giant, exploded , burning building. Liam joined him.

"Their... Their..." Liam began, but Nick finished. "Their all dead..."  Nick said in a sad voice. "No..." Liam said, and grabbed Nick, and they hugged...
