"C'mon, PUNK! Hurry your a** up!" Undyne yelled at you. You were fixing drinks during your usual meet-up with Undyne. However, she seemed cranky and upset this afternoon. You finished the tea and handed her a cup.
Undyne shakily took the cup, putting it to her lips. You watched her. She closed her eyes, avoiding all other aspects of life except her cup of hot tea. You frowned, seeing your friend upset. You didn't know what was wrong, but you planned on fixing it.
"Hey Undyne..?" She opened an eye, the other being covered by an eyepatch. "Yeah, (Y/N)?" She asked, obviously a bit annoyed. "Are you alri-"
"YES, I'M FINE. JUST LEAVE ME ALONE, ALRIGHT, PUNK?"
Undyne's eye began to water as she laid her head on the table. "I'm... I'm okay." She reassured you. It wasn't very reassuring.
You were filled with determination.
You grabbed Undyne's shoulders and stared her in the eye. "You can tell me." You said. That was it. She bursted into tears, hugging you.
"I miss how it used to be! I would be with Alphys, Asgore was happy, Toriel was happy, and I was happy.
"But now.... It's like a whole new world."
You found this funny, considering another fish sang a song of the same name.
However, you kept your laugh on the inside.
"Undyne, it's alright." You held her close, letting the humanoid fish cry on your shoulder. "Alphys is simply busy, and you know what went on between Tori and Gorey.." You closed your mouth, letting those words sink in.
"...Hm."
"Hey Undyne, if it helps at all, I still kind of like you...."
You became very silent after that last sentence. You remembered revealing your true feelings a few months ago, but she liked Dr.Alphys.
".....Thanks, Punk."
