Morning of January twelfth - The crystal starts glowing a bright yellow. My feet started to lift from the ground and I became weightless. All at once memories of my past were coming back to me. I saw the sun, the villain Prime, his plan to destroy us, and four other children beside me. With my past comes my original form. My weightlessness gratified on me; landing on my back making a huge THUMP! sound.

"What was that??" my mom yelled from downstairs.

"I dropped my shirt!!" I yelled back. "That sounded too heavy for a shirt". "I was in it".

When I got back on my feet I looked in the mirror it was me, but my black hair turned a golden yellow and my eyes like fire. I wanted to scream but I knew that it would attract attention towards me. So I hid myself. I was getting ready for school put a hoodie on (to hide my hair) and sunglasses (to cover my eyes). I ran out the house towards my school. Right when I closed the front door I saw a boy and a girl with odd colored hair. The boy's was silver and the girl's was a white. It took me a second to realize who they were. It was Shadow and Sapphire. I needed to know if it really was them and where they were going. They looked like they knew where they were headed. I had a split second decision to make: A – miss school; for some people I don't know or B – Follow them and make myself look weird. My hearts was racing my family could be worried and call the police or worse the FBI. I feel a tug in my gut no a tug on my neck. It was my crystal shaped necklace leading me away from them. I have to make at least three decisions. One – Me possibly leaving for... who knows how long.

Two – Following people from my past that may or may not recognize me.

Three – Following my necklace

I followed my necklace. It led me to my backyard. There was a chest there. The key was my crystal. Inside the chest it read

Carson City, Nevada. Once you arrive let the crystal guide you from there. Time is ticking.

I took the note and smashed it in pocket. I left my backpack there, in the backyard, and let the crystal lead me to shadow and Sapphire.
