My mouth hung open, a single eye twitching at the sight in front of me.

"Himenai, are you okay?" Dad asked, waving a single hand in front of my face.

"Yeah, Himenai, are you okay?" The devilish blonde asked, a hint of teasing in his damned voice.

". . I–"

"Good! While you and your guest are conversing, I'll go get your mother–"

"Step mother."

Dad sighs.

"–some medicine."

With that, he left me and the work of art. Silence fell over the two of us before–

"So, step mom, huh. . ?"

"FIRST OF ALL, HOW DID YOU KNOW WHERE I LIVE? SECOND, WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE? THIRD, YOU ARE IN BIG TROUBLE, IDIOT, BE GLAD MY DAD DOESN'T HAVE HIS GUN LOADED. FOURTH–"

"Can you hurry up? I'm getting sleepy. . And hungry." He interrupted, yawning as his hand covered his mouth. Either he was being a polite bastard, or he was hiding his fangs.

"I want to take you out." A smirk now occupying his lips, he said this in a very hot way.

"Sorry, dude, I'm not food. Besides, I'm supposed to take you out,"

"Out of this house." I continued, flipping my hair in the most sassiest way possible. Before he could say another word, I interrupt.

"And I don't go on dates with people who pay some chick to take a picture." With a final sass, I wait for his reply slash him leaving my house.

"Such a rude attitude to the one who brought you here," He yawns for the umpteenth time.

'Damn, boy, it's your bedtime, get to–

"You heard me. You passed out, after all."

A minute or two passed.
