   (Blaise's POV)

I looked all around me, all I could see was mist. It was everywhere! I couldn't even see 3 inches in front of me. It was like a thick blanket draped over everything! I started walking slowly careful, groping around in the air trying to find something to grab onto. I could now see the fog lifting, all I could see were tree's. I startd running forward, I tried to call for help but it was like some thing was blocking any sound from coming out of my mouth. I stopped running when I heard a twig snap to my left. I looked left and right before I started running again. I could feel sweat dripping down my forehead.  I randomly fell to the ground clutching my chest.

That's when the pain came in. It felt like a was bieng stabbed in the chest with a knife that had spikes all over it. I looked down at my bare chest and saw 7 small holes in my chest. I could barely see them because blood was pouring out of them. I jolted awake in bed screaming out in pain. I looked down, and to my relief, there were no holes in my chest. I felt my body and saw that sweat was dripping off my body everywhere!

I slowly got out of my king sized bed and surveyed my room. It was a regular guy room. It wasn't super cool or anything, my parents weren't super rich. I have red and black walls, a 30" plasma screen tv infront of my bed, and black guitar hanging on the wall beside my door. In the left corner of my room I have my own black circle chair that I like to sit in and play guitar. I have a regular sized bathroom attached to my room and a small closet. I have a side table beside my bed that has a big clock/radio on it.

I grabbed my remote and turned my radio onto All Time Low. I turned it down low enough that it was just background noise and dropped to the floor. I started my regular morning routine, 60 push ups, 50 sit ups, and then a shower. I finished my excersises and went into the bathroom.

I didn't need to close the door since it was 5:00 in the morning, none of my family would be up now.I turned the shower nozzle to hot and stripped out of my boxers. I looked at myself in the mirror. I guess you could call me good looking, I'm 18 (almost 19), I have brown short hair (not short enough to be a buzz cut.) and blue grey eyes with a silver ring in them. I have a 6-pack , and my skin is kinda tan. I don't have enough of a tan to be considered as having a regular tan. I hopped into the shower and sighed in relief as the hot water relaxed my sore muscles.

After my shower I got dressed in some blue jeans and a grey Nike t-shirt. I walked down the stairs quietly and went into the kitchen to get some breakfast. Luckily my shower didn't wake anyone up. I like it bieng quiet in the morning, and that doesn't happen when my family is awake. I have a little brother and sister. Their both twins and are 13 years old. You wouldn't think they are twins because they are ferternal twins. We don't have a mom and dad, they abandoned us when i turned 18 (luckily) so I was able to have the house and keep my brother and sister in school.

I reached into the kitchen cabnet and pulled out a breakfast bar. I know, it's not that much, but it' enough to keep my going until lunch. I ran out the door and started out on my forest route. As you have already guessed, our house is by the forest. We live in the Southeastern part of Washington. It was spring and there was some mist in the air.

That was typical for a morning in spring here. As I started jogging, I decided to have some fun and see how fast I could go. I started running as fast as my legs could carry me, and before I knew it all the trees around me were passing by in a blur. My breathing started to become heavey, so I started to slow down. I saw some movement out of the corner of my eye, but before I could stop I hit a tree root sticking out of the ground and went flying down the hill I was running on. I let out a yelp of surprise as something made a giant cut into my back.

I could feel blood dripping down the scratch along with tons of other scratches I had on my body. I could feel my body bieng battered and bruised as I continued to fall down the surprisingly tall hill. I grabed my chest in pain as it was smashed against a tree trunk probably breaking a few of my ribs. I finally felt my self stop rolling at the bottom of the hill. I started to get up but fell down probably from the blood loss. I fell back down to the ground. I felt my vision beginning to fade, but before I fell asleep I heard the fermiliar sound of footsteps running toward me.
