Chapter 3

The next three days went by fast. Everyone kept telling me to take it easy because, I quote "You could re-open your cuts!" I say, that's the stupidest thing ever.

"I'm so bored!" I said to the wall. All I could do the past three days is watch t.v. and play my ipod wich they got from my house. I'm still wondering where I am but, I've decided to just relax and start questioning when I'm healed.

It's so wierd. Every time I try to get up some one immediatly comes in and makes me lay down! It's like they can see through walls, and to add to that Samantha keeps hitting on me.

She's tried so hard she even layed down ontop of me. It was pretty annoying considering that I couldn't move an inch without getting yelled at. Like last time she tried to kiss me but, I shoved her off me and onto the ground. After that she got really red in the face and yelling at me saying "YOU'LL REGRET THAT!" The only thing I regret right now is falling down the mountain. I fell asleep that night thinking about what I'm going to do about my brother and sister. Even though we yell alot we still care about each other enough to be worried if one of us is missing.

Finally, today's the day I can finally get out of bed and walking around! My muscles are aching to be used. Everyone had their eyes on me as I slowly stood up from the bed, I started stretching out my legs and seeing how strong they were.

"Good, you can walk." Eva said grumpily.

"Some one woke up on the wrong side of the bed." I said rolling my eyes. She just glared back at me and stood in the corner silently watching me.

"Ok, now that your up we have some things to talk about." Josh said. He turned around and looked at the girls intently. Eva immediatly walked out the door and Raine kissed Josh on the lips and left too. Josh turned and trained his hard stare upon her. "Don't you get that your not wanted here right now." Josh said glaring at Samantha. I'm starting to get the feeling that Josh doesn't like Samantha very much.

"Why can't I stay!" she whined.

"Leave now!" He said to her almost a yell.

"Fine." she grumbled slowly walking out the door.

I looked at him expectantly and said "So, what'd you wanna talk about."

"Well, first we need to talk about why your here, we'll see how you handle why your here and then we'll talk about stuff I can't talk agbout right now." he said. I looked at him quizzically. "First things first, I need to tell you about the school." "We're not a normal school." he said.

"You can say that again." I said quietly under my breath.

"This school is for people with extroardinary powers," he continued "like me." he said holding his hand out. I looked at his hand and saw it starting to get blue. My eybrows furrowed together as I saw his hand turn a deep blue and start growing ice everywhere. "I have the power of ice, everyone has a different power." "It's has never been know for more than one person having the same power."

"Pfft, I don't believe you, that could just be a really good special effects trick." I said coldly.

"I thought you would say that." he said reaching towards me.

"What are you doing." I said quickly moving away from him. He quickly reached out and grabbed my arm. I felt it instantly stat to feel like it was bieng frozen solid. I started freaking out because i couldn't move my arm. "What did you do!" I yelled at him startled. I shoved his arm off me and immediatly felt my arm starting to thaw. 

"Here." he said throwing me a whooly blanket. (I'm just guessing on the spelling of that.) I grabbed it out of mid air and rapped it around my arm quickly glaring at him. "Sorry, but you would have never believed me if I hadn't shown you."

"YOU COULDN'T HAVE FROZEN A PILLOW!" I yelled at him.

"Calm down or something bad is going to happen." He said pushing me down onto the bed.

"I WILL NOT CALM DOWN!" I yelled right into his face. 

"I don't want to do his to you but, you leave me no choice." He said softly. 

I watched him curiously as he reached into his poket and pulled out a syringe filled with some type of blue liquied. "What are you gonna do with-" I couldn't even finish my sentence because he jabbed it into my arm and injected me with the liquid. "DUDE!" I yelled at him, getting ready to punch him straight in the face. Before I could even move my arm toward his face I felt my body beginning to tire. "Wha- wha did you do." I said swaying slightly. I felt myself fall down onto the soft bed. I could feel sleep creeping up on me really fast. Right before I was completely knocked out I heard him soflty say.

"Get a good nights sleep, you start classes tomorrow." That's when I blacked out completely.
