Chapter 11 - "I like you, but..."

*Sakira's P.O.V*

I bit down on my bottom lip. I blushed and began to scoot away.

"Nice weather we're having isn't it?" I asked as I awkwardly shuffled around.

Ijuuin only sighed.

I looked over to him and watched as he looked up at the clouds. "It has a nice breeze," was all he said before letting out a small smile himself.

I nodded. "I guess I'll be going then."

I was close to leaving before my wrist was grabbed.

"Where do you think you're going?" asked Ijuuin as he smiled at me.

"H... H-Home!" I eventually blurted out.

Ijuuin chuckled. "Let's have dinner together."

"I'm good," I responded.

"Your speedy rejection does not phase me," was all Ijuuin said before he dragged me away.

"Do you not realize that you basically just kidnapped me?!" I whisper shouted towards Ijuuin.

He rolled his eyes. "Yes, any cop would believe that I kidnapped you and took you to this fancy restaurant."

I pouted slightly. "They might believe me."

Ijuuin rolled his eyes yet again. "I want to know why you ran out back there."

My eyes widened. He got to the point rather quickly...

"I... I just wanted to get some fresh air is all," I said as I looked him dead in the eye.

"I saw your face before you left..." said Ijuuin as he looked away. "Plus, you never look someone in the eye when you talk. So, I'm calling out that you're lying."

"Y-Y-You don't know that!" I exclaimed but quieted down when I realized we were still in the really nice restaurant.

Our food then arrived. I had trusted Ijuuin enough to order it, more like he insisted on doing so.

We then began to eat in silence... Not the comfortable kind either.

"Sakira," said Ijuuin as he eventually set his fork down.

"Yes?" I said, more so asked.

"I like you," said Ijuuin as he looked at me with honest eyes.

My eyes widened as I heard the words. I could feel my heart flutter and do back flips and a number of other acrobatic tricks.

"However," Ijuuin said, which caused my heart to stop suddenly. "I also have had feelings for Misaki."

My eyes widened. So... That's what I was afraid of before.

"Which of us do you like more?" I asked as I tilted my head to the side.

"I don't know," said Ijuuin as he sighed. "I liked Misaki for so long, and even though I know I don't have a chance... I still wanted to go after him. But, then... You came out of nowhere with your bright smile and cuteness."

I blushed like mad at this. 'He thought I was cute!'

"I really don't know what to do," said Kyo as he sighed.

I blushed and said, "Well, I feel the same way, K-K-Kyo-s-san!"

Kyo looked at me with wide eyes. "You do?"

I nodded my head and then smiled. "I want to be together with you, so I'll try my best to get you to notice me far more than you notice Misaki, senpai!"

Kyo blushed slightly which made me blush. "Mmkay..." he eventually muttered. "I'll try to get over Misaki faster."

"Deal?" I asked as I held out my pinky finger.

"Deal," said Ijuuin as he chuckled and locked his pinky with mine.

'This is just the very beginning!' I thought as I felt full determination while I ate. 'Just you wait, K-Kyo-san! I'll make you fall in love with me!'
