-Cassia's POV-

I watch as a silver Merc drives into the yard. Linda and Nicki are standing at my sides. This is it. The car parks and a man gets out, followed by a young girl about my age. She looks around, looking excited and then walks over to us with I'm guessing her dad.

'Hi! I'm Ally Fenderson! Pleased to meet you all,' she says. I can sense a bubbly attitude which is good in a way.

If she is the girl who is coming to see my foal I don't want her to have a sour attitude. You know, sulking and that.

'Hello Ally. I'm Linda. I'm the stable owner. Then this is my head groom and stable hand, Nicki. Then we have Cassia. Cassia is the owner of Truly Gifted, the foal you want to see.' Linda said. Ally stood in front of me, a wide grin spread across her face.

'It is so nice to meet you, Cassia. Okay, let's go see your baby horse!' she says. I look at her for one minute before walking towards the field and standing at the fence. Baby horse? Really?

'So have you ever ridden before?' I ask her.

'Oh yes! All the time!' she says, not looking at me.

We spend a few minutes in silence. I'm happy to just watch Gift as he follows his mother. But my horse doesn't really want him. She's getting bored of him already. Linda says I should separate them but that's going to be the hardest thing of my life. They'll be heart broken, I know it.

'Uh... Cassia?' Ally says. I snap into the real world and face her.

'Yeah?'

'I just made you an offer. I know I'm young but my dad can pay for it! Before I left home to come here he said I could make offers as long as it was under 19,000. Pounds, that is. So here it is.... I'm offering you 15,000 for Gift,' she said. I stared at her, horrified. No money in the world could buy him!

'Hes not for sale, Ally. And what do you mean by when you left home? Didn't your dad drive you?' I ask.

'No... Martin is my butler. I'm not poor, y'know. So that's why I'm about to offer... £18,000!' she said. Butler? Wow. They must be rich!! But no.

'I really don't care. He's. Not. For. SALE!' I shouted. Ally looked at me before stomping off to join Martin. They kept giving me dirty looks and glaring at me.

As if I care. At least they won't come back now. Thats the good thing, they won't come back. Ally won't come and make stupid offers to buy MY foal. I know she said she rides all the time but the way she Gift a "baby horse" instead of a foal.... No. Just no.

The rest of the day was pretty basic. They left and I stayed with Gift and my horse for the rest of the day. Once or twice Linda joined me and Nicki joined me about five times but mostly I was on my own. It wasn't boring. It was cool. The weather was pretty good too. Sunny but not too hot. There was a gentle breeze. The sky was bright blue with not a cloud in sight. I don't know if it's just me but whenever I look up in the sky and don't see any clouds it's kind of scary. I don't know why.

I keep thinking about Ally. I don't know what it is but something tells me she'll be back...

-------------------

Sorry, I know it's very short and take a long time to make! Well actually it took after an hour and a half but I don't really feel like writing these days. The next update will be... About next week. If I'm feeling up to it. If not, I'm sorry. I might update earlier though. It's just I've been busy and totally forgotten about wattpad!! Sorry, guys. I'm a horrible person, I know. But anyway, I hope you enjoyed this short chapter and the next one will -hopefully!- be longer xxxx
