Deeks P.O.V

Callen walked into the bullpen without Laura

"Where's Laura?"

"Gym. Your up. Be careful." He warned

I walked into the gym to see Laura sitting against the wall,bruises on her neck,arms and legs my heart plummeted

I continued to walk and I sat down beside her 

"Hey" I spoke softly

"Hi" she whispered

"Look Laura I'm sorry if I upset you but I want to make sure your safe and with that guy around I don't see that happening."

She looked up at me,tears were visible in her blue eyes

"I know, and I'm not mad at you. To be honest I'm happy someone realized the pain he is causing me."

"How long has he been beating you?" I said slowly

She looked off into the distance as she spoke

"Two months."

*My god she'd been living with his beatings for two months. How could someone be beating this angel*

"Oh my god. Laura why didn't you tell us?"

I could feel tears in my eyes, also anger was building up

"He said he would kill the people I love." She broke down into tears

I pulled her in for a hug, softly stroking her hair trying to calm her down

After a couple of minutes her sobs stopped, she wiggled out of my hug and stood up

"Thank you Deeks,I don't think Hetty needs to know." she smiled weakly

"Wait Laura you've only been here for three months, that mean's you've been getting hurt since you started here..." 

she said nothing she stood there waiting for me to say something else

"Leave him. Your staying with me tonight. No questions asked. Clear?" 

"Crystal." She whispered

We took a moment before we went to the bullpen, 

Laura's P.O.V

I could feel Callen and Sam's eyes following me as I sat down, they all looked so worried.

I started on some case reports that were starting to form a tower on my desk

A whistle from upstairs comfirmed we had a case, we all went upstairs to ops

"LAURA!" Nell yelled running towards me 

"Omph" I groaned as she hugged me tightly

"Hehe sorry.." she said shyly walking away to her computer

"What have yah got Eric?" Asked Callen

"Dead Marine, found in the fountain at the mall, the cleaners found him hanging from the statur on the top of the fountain, there were burns across his chest suggesting electricution."

"If it was across his chest it would of suffocated him, slowly." I shuddered

The team all turned and looked at me

"What I used to hang out with Ducky at crime scenes in DC."

Deeks chuckled, Callen looked slightly amused and Sam just looked scared

"Right, Deeks and Laura I want you to go to the fountain and see what you can find, Sam and I will go speak to his family."

With that being said we walked out of ops and down stairs,

I grabbed my jacket and walked towards the exit

"Hey wait up!" Deeks yelled 

I turned around to see Deeks running towards me like a puppy

"C'mon Shaggy we've got a murder to solve."
