Usagi's P.O.V.

He is a rose with thorns that are a mile long. Pluck away the protective barrier, you get a delicate picturesque beauty. Petals will fall and the rose may wilt a little, but you'll still appreciate the image in front of you.

The rose is never truly replaceable. The memories of watching him bloom and become a stunner, a true representative of what it means to be beautiful will forever be etched in to your mind.

But the down side is.. That when a rose is constantly plucked upon, it will wilt and resort to dying to avoid more damage.

A rose's life is constantly fleeting, cherish every single moment.

There is also an upside to it, you know. You have a little time to sit back and stare at the rose all day, you never have to say a word. Just admire every single detail, down to the last molecule of it's existence.

Another upside perhaps, is the way the rose can brighten your day after you cry for hours because of the current lament on your mind. Maybe your heart is broken and there's no way to stop your ever flowing tears, but your cries will not go unheard. The rose is there to share your pain. See? Amazing, right??

It is said that when a rose, or any plant for that matter, becomes attached to a certain human, they will remember every kind thing that human did for them and will bloom the prettiest it can be. But when the said human leaves or can't take care of it, the plant becomes depressed and will gradually wilt away.

If you care for a rose, it will care for you.

My Misaki is a rose that blooms prettier every year.

His colors are vivid. His petals are soft and smooth. His thorns don't always help him.

My colors are dull. My petals are old and tired. My thorns protect Misaki when someone else reaches for him.

He has no flaws, he is absolutely perfect.

He is Misaki.
