Ugh.. I swear I keep hearing things. It sounded like the crackling of plastic and it smells weird in here.
But guess what. I'm not about to wake up and see what it is.
I really don't wanna know, to be quite honest. If it's Usagi-san doing something weird again, I'm not even concerned at the moment...
Wait!. What if someone broke in!?
I frantically opened my eyes and sat up in bed, only to find the room completely filled with bouquets of various flowers and boxes of all sizes scattered about the room. There was even candy everywhere.
... What..? How did these get here??
I heard a knock at the door, it opened and in popped Usagi-san's head with the biggest smile I have ever seen on that man's face.
Misaki: Usagi-san?
He walked in with a cake in his hands and trailing behind him was a bouquet of balloons tied to his belt loop. And to my surprise, he started singing.
Usagi: 🎶Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday, my dearest Misaki. Happy birthday to you!🎶.
Misaki: Usagi-san?
Usagi: Happy birthday, Misaki!
Misaki: Where did these flowers come from?
Usagi: I bought them, silly!
Misaki: I know that, but how did they get in here?
Usagi: I snuck in here while you were asleep. I was going to put them in the living room, but I thought it would be more romantic this way.
Misaki: Wow, you lit the candle on the cake already?
Usagi: Yeah. Make a wish.
I smiled.
Usagi: What?
Misaki: Make a wish with me.
Usagi: No. This is your birthday, I'm not gonna butt in on your wish making.
Misaki: Please?
I gave him the eyes that would make him all hot. It was like he was pulled by a magnet, he instantly came to sit beside me and waited for me to make a wish with him.
Usagi: I'm ready.
Misaki: Haha, okay.
He closed his eyes and then I closed mine. We quietly made our wishes and blew the candle out.
