I woke up at 7 and went to get Grant's stuff ready. I packed two outfits, one for the next day and one in case of emergency, a pair of pajamas, diapers, wipes, his blanket, his teddy, and woke him up. He grabbed a sippy cup and we walked over to the cupboard with the baby food. I had him pick out some for breakfast that I was going to feed him, lunch, dinner, and breakfast for the next day since they were dropping him off around 10am the next day.

"Lou, wake up, baby!" I yelled up as I finished feeding Grant.

"Coming." He groaned as he walked down the stairs.

"Say bye bye to Daddy." I told Grant as I handed him to Louis.

"Bye, Dadda." Grant frowned. Louis hugged him and kissed his forehead.

"Bye, bub. See you tomorrow." Louis whispered and went to make our tea. I wrapped Grant's blanket around him and gave him his teddy before picking up his bag and leaving. I walked next door and rang the doorbell. Beth let me in and led me to the living room.

"Here, put his bag here." She said quietly, noticing he was almost asleep.

"He fell asleep after he said goodbye to Louis. I woke him up an hour early so I could get him here by 8. Here's his clothes and food and sippy. I packed clothes for tomorrow and pajamas for tonight and also an extra pair of clothes. Bedtime is usually around 7:30, but just make it before 11 otherwise he gets super cranky. He gets this one at lunch, this one at dinner, and this one at breakfast. Uh, he can have apple juice but it has to be one part juice one part water. Usually he prefers water so you should be okay. Uh-" I rambled.

"Bay, relax. I know what to do. Go be with Louis. You said you guys need a day together so go. I'll call you if anything huge comes up. Go be with your husband, Bay. It sounds like you need an alone day." She laughed as she hugged me. I handed her my sleeping son and she pushed me out the door. I went back to Louis and he immediately hugged me.

"Cuddle time, baby?" He asked and I nodded.

"We're ordering breakfast. I just can't be bothered to make anything." I sighed and he frowned.

"I'll order it." He said sceptically and led me to the living room.

"What's wrong?" I asked after he hung up.

"I feel bad that you're this tired. Obviously it's my fault for not doing enough around the house. I'm so sorry." He apologized.

"Baby, I'm just exhausted. Grant has woken up in the middle of the night every night for the past week. It's not your fault." I assured him.

"But I could seriously be doing more around the house." He frowned.

"Ba-" I started.

"No, really. I'm sorry." He cut me off.

"It's okay, Lou." I told him, kind of annoyed he wouldn't drop it.

"Next time tell me he wakes up. I'll take care of him. You need to relax more." He pushed.

"Lou, it's fine! Just drop it!" I snapped and stormed off to our room. He started to follow after me but I yelled at him.

"Don't bother." I yelled. He hesitated for a second but I heard him coming up the stairs as I shut the door. As he reached the top step the doorbell rang.
