Ariella was abruptly waken at 2:06 in the morning by the obnoxious ringing of her phone.

And trust me, she was not at all happy about it. One of the reasons being that she was up all night on Netflix catching up on a whole season of her favorite show. But if there's one thing she loves most in the world, it would definitely be her sleep. Well, after Netflix that is.

She blindly searched for her outdated phone where she last left it; charging beside her after a long, battery-draining night of binge-watching Parks & Recreation.

She couldn't afford any of the newer generations of phones with her pathetic waitress salary. Hell, she couldn't even afford clothes from your everyday retail stores.

Ariella always had to resort to getting wardrobe from the vintage shop a block away from the diner she currently worked at. But she liked how the used clothing gave her style an edgy, bohemian look, perfectly suiting her taste in fashion.

After knocking a few framed photos and a small lamp off her dresser, she finally found the ringing device and held it over her squinted eyes.

Unknown Number, the screen read as she furrowed her brows in confusion.

Who the hell could be calling me at 2:00 in the morning, she thought to herself.

Tapping green button hesitantly, she brought the phone up to her ear, only to hear silence from the other line.

"Hello?" She asked after a long pause.

"Ariella? Ariella Samford?"

"Yes...," Her heart began to pound quickly once she realized that the voice and number weren't at all familiar to her.

"Finally, after all these years, I get to hear your beautiful voice again."

"Who is this? How do you know my name?"

"Baby girl, I know everything about you."
