For the first time in ages I'm having a girls night, just Veronica, Ashley, Mia and of corse Luke. I love Christian but it feels good to stay in with some of my friends and just do random and stupid shit.
"What are we doing tonight ladies?" Luke asked linking his arm with mine as we walked down the school hall way, because it's the last day of the term we didn't really have much to do.
"Well I think we should do some crazy stuff like spin the bottle" Veronica spoke walking next to Luke and Ash.
"Seriously V? It's just gonna be us girls and Luke" Mia spoke straight away getting to the point.
"Yes Mia, point being?"
"I think it's great, totally Crazy. Maybe get a couple more guys over or something?" I said to them nudging Luke.
"Well there is this guy that I like and maybe he likes me. Can I invite him over?"
"Who's coming over?" Christian said grabbing my hand and kissing my head.
"Hey baby, you wanna come over tonight? We were going to have a girls night but maybe now we'll have a mini party."
"Sounds good. I will be there. Is there gonna be alcohol?"
"I will text mum, maybe." I got my phone out and sent mum a text message and almost instantly she called me back.
"What is this Carter? A party?"
"No mother a mini party, just me and the group. Nothing too major. Please?"
"You know your father is going to completely freak out?"
"You two did stuff like this all the time, please just let me have some part of your past mum. Please?"
"I guess so just please be responsible."
"I promise mum we will. Thank you so much I love you. You know that right?"
"Yeah kiddo you're not too bad. I'll go and buy some stuff after work okay? No more people then your group"
"Yes dear" I hung up after that and almost started screaming.
"What Carter?"
"Mum said yes and she's getting some stuff after work. I'm so excited."
"Great, so what time?"
"Does 5 sound good?"
"We'll all be there" the bell went signalling that it was finally time for last period, sport with Mr Russ. One of the hottest teachers here. Tall with spiked up short hair, tonned skin and big muscles. Almost all the girls dribble over him and you can tell that so many female teachers do too, he's so good looking.
"Carter? You in here? Everyone will be here soon"
"Coming mum" I was just finishing my hair, up-down with curls and did little makeup. I was wearing the same thing I wore on my first date with Christian, my grey crop top with long sleeves and black skinny jeans. What I feel most comfortable in.
"Hey baby"
"Hey mum"
"You look stunning, can't believe you're having your first party and you're not even 18 yet, sometimes I wonder if I'm doing a good job raising you kids."
"Mum you're doing an amazing job raising us. Both you and dad have done a pretty damn good job so far and look how we have turned out. I love you so much mum and I would tell you if you were a bad parent but you're far from it"
"I love you Carter"
"Love you too mum" she kissed my head and left my room letting me finish getting ready. She went and brought me some drinks after work then came home. I can't believe it either that I'm having my own mini party with just my friends, should be great fun I hope. And my mother is so cool like she will most likely come and join us.
"Everything almost done in here mum?" I asked my mum and started eating the chips in a bowl that she had set up.
"Almost, food is still cooking and I'm about to make a big punch bowl for you guys. Vodka and cranberry juice. Sound good?" She's amazing, I love my mother.
"Sounds amazing mum I'm so excited" as if on cue the door bell rang, I ran to answer it and it was Luke with a very stunning young man. This must be the date he was talking about.
"Hey Luke, you keen?"
"Sure am girlfriend but first of all this is Matt the guy I was telling you about. Matt this is my best friend Carter" he's gorgeous, medium height with bright blond hair and brown eyes. Dressed in tight black jeans and a grey polo shirt.
"Hey Matt, pleasure to meet you"
"Same to you Carter" it was so cute they were holding hands, my little Luke is growing up.
"Well if you guys would like to, the party is going to be in the theatre room so just wait in there and I'll bring food and drinks." They both smiled at me and left. I ran into the kitchen to tell mum about Luke.
"Luke brought his date"
"Is she cute?"
"He's very hot" mums jaw almost dropped to the ground when I told her that it was a him not a she.
"You mean?"
"Yes mother, Luke bats for the other team"
"I always thought you two would get together. But little Luke I'm so happy he's found someone."
"Yes me too, I just came here for food and something to drink"
"Start with the soft drink until your friends get here Carter or there will be nothing left" she's had some wild parties in her day but mum knows her stuff.
"Can you help bring them in?"
"Sure baby" she picked up the drinks and brought them into the theatre room, we interrupted something because Luke and Matt jumped apart within a second.
"Hey Luke how you doing?"
"I'm doing fine Mrs Buttcher, how are you?"
"Fine thank you, enjoy your night" mum left quickly because she felt uncomfortable I could tell.
