Chapter 2

Sophie's POV




I was getting changed for my shopping day with my mom. We have been very close ever since my mom and dad got a divorce along with my baby sister, Amy Lou Parker, she's 8 and she's very annoying.




I put on some light blue skinny jeans with a black sweater, I pulled my black combat boots on and put my hair up in a bun and headed down stairs.




"You ready?" My mum said.




"Yep." I replied.




We headed out the door and was greeted by the warm Miami weather. We got into my mums car and headed to the mall.




The car ride was pretty silent except the radio playing Some Nights by F.U.N.




Once we got there we headed towards Jack Will. We shopped for about hour and I got a blue, pink, and purple Jack Wills hoodie, a few t shirts and a necklace.




"So where do you want to go know?"




"Hmmm...Topsh-"




Baby you light up my world like nobody else the way yo-




"Sophie here"




"Hey Soph I need to talk to you."




"Ok ill be there in 10 luv you!!"




"yea yea luv you too."




I hung up on her. "Can you drop me off at Lizzy's?"




"Sure." Mum said.




We walked out of the mall and to the car. "What does Liz need to tell you?" Mum asked.




"I don't know she didn't tell me but just in case it was a break up I brought the stuff me and her both like."




"Well ok sice you might spend the night over there just come home tomorrow instead of staying there for 3 days and dont tell her about the tickets." Mum chuckled.




"Yea yea mum I love you."




"Love you too."




l walked up to the door and rang it a couple times. I heard noises and someone open the door."




"Yo" I said.




"Sophie!!!"




"Lets go up to my room."




I have always loved it here it was like my second home to me.




"So what do you need to talk about?"




"Its about Skyler and I."




"Ok."




She told me everything that happened. About him telling her about the propose and about him breaking up with her. I was shocked Parker was Carters besy friend. I am suprise Carter didnt punch him.




"Oh Liz I am soooo sorry he did that to you."




"Its fine....even Carter agreed with me. He told me he was an ass."




I laughed"Well he is one."




After joking around we watch 3 movies and after that we were sleeping like a log.

When I woke up I saw Liz sleeping so I put a note beside her bed.

l had to go home since my mom wanted me to pick something up somewhere. Have a good morning. Text you when l can love you

I headed down stairs and through the door. Since I didnt have a car yet I had to walk home. It was only a couple blocks down the road so it probably only takes my 5 mins. to get to my house.




When I walked inside my house I heard my mum talking to someone in the kitechen.




"Mum is everything ok?"




"No the tickets arnt coming in today like they said they would."




"Well whenare they coming in?" I asked.




"They said in a week."




"But the concert is next week mum!"




"I know I know."




"Wheres dad?"




"At work like always."




"Of course."




I headed to my room and slamed my door in frustration. My dad is always at work and cant help. Ii hope those tickets come in on time or this Liz's birthday would be a disaster.
