We had got back from the hospital about an hour ago.We managed to get out of the hospital and into our home without any paps being around,so at the moment,the public didn't know that we had twins.We had put Jasmine and Ruby into a moses basket,and I haven't taken me eyes off the both of them.They were so angelic,just like little dolls,absolutely perfect.We were waiting for Annabelle and Terri to get home from school,and then there was quite a few visitors coming around tonight.We had me mam,Simon's family,me girls,Dannii,Lily,Hillary and Sinitta coming around for abit tonight,and I took a picture of Jasmine and Ruby and sent it to me brothers and sister.I turn around when I hear Simon walking back through from the kitchen.
"Belle's and Terri will be back in about half hour.They're picking up my mum on the way."
"Okay babes.I can't wait for them to see their baby sisters!"
"Me either! It's going to be such a surprise for them,they don't know a thing!"
He walks over to us,and I lean into him,placing a kiss on his lips.We pull away from each other when one of our babies start crying.
"We're going to have to get used to that!" I laugh.
"I know!"
I turn around,realising it's Ruby crying.I walk over to the moses basket,gently picking her up and putting her head against me shoulder.
"Shh baby girl,mammy's here!" I whisper.
I jiggle her up and down abit,and slowly her cries stopped.
"You're actually a natural!" Simon says,looking quite shocked.
I laugh at him, "It's called having quite a few nieces and nephews! Before being in popstars the rivals,I shared a room with me sister and her baby,and I got up quite a few times in the middle of the night to get him back to sleep!"
"Oh right! I've never done anything like that!"
"Don't worry Mr Cowell,you'll be getting plenty of time to do that now!" I laugh.
I look down when Ruby shuffles herself closer to us,moving her head into the crook of me neck,making a snuffling sound.
"She's so cute!" I whisper.
"And she already has a slight pout while sleeping." He laughs.
"So she does! Aww,bless her."
I place a kiss on top of her head,then walk back over to the moses basket and carefully put her back in it.
"I can't believe they're here! It seems,I don't know,like a dream!"
"I know what you mean babes.I actually can't stop looking at them,even though they're asleep."
We stand in silence for a couple of minutes,just watching the twins.We both look to the window when we hear a car pull up through the gates.Realising it's Tony,I turn to Simon and give him a smile,before we both walk out into the hallway.I open the front door,both the girls run up to both us and Simon from the car,giving us a hug.
"Girls.We have a surprise for you both."
"A surprise?!" They both say.
"Yep.But you'll have to be very quiet."
"Okay." They whisper,making us smile.
"Follow us."
Simon walk into the living room first,followed by us,and then the girls.
"We'd like to introduce you to your two baby sisters!"
We move out the way of the moses baskets,and let Belle's and Terri have a look.
"You had the babies!"
I nod me head,and they walk over and kneel down next to the moses baskets.
"What do you think girls?"
"They're tiny!" Terri whispers.
"They're well cute!" Annabelle whispers after.
"Do you want to know their names?"
"Yep!"
"This one is Jasmine Julie Cowell,and this one is Ruby Joan Cowell."
"You picked the names we chose!"
"We said we would let you choose the names pet.Now,would you like to hold one of them?"
"Yes please!" They both say,smiles on both of their faces.
"Go and sit down on the sofa,and we'll pass one of them to you both."
They both run over and jump on either end of the sofa.Simon picks up Jasmine and I pick up Ruby,placing Ruby in Terri's arms,and Jasmine in Annabelle's arms.Both the twins tuck their legs up into their chest,snuggling into the girls arms.Both me and Simon sit in the middle of the sofa,making sure the girls are alright with the twins.I turn around when I hear the front door close,and I see Tony and Julie appear by the door of the living room.
"Is it alright to come in?" Julie says quietly.
I give her a smile, "Of course it is!"
Her and Tony walk in the room,walking over to us,
"How adorable are they! Congratulations to you both!"
"Thank you."
She leans down and gives us a hug and a kiss on the cheek,then her and Tony walk over to sit down on a chair.
"So,did everything go alright?"
I look up at Julie and smile, "Yep,it all went smoothly thanks.I wasn't exactly expecting that amount of pain though!"
"I don't think anyone does!" She laughs.
"But it's most definitely worth it in the end!"
