(Simon's POV)
I was woken up with Cheryl shouting.I turn the side light on and see it's only three o'clock in the morning.I turn over and see she is still asleep,but having a nightmare.I look at her and see she's crying,then I jump when I hear her shout,
"Ashley,stop! Your hurting us!"
I see her curl up slightly,putting her hands up over her face.
"No! No! Ashley! Please,I beg you!"
Then I see her curl up into a ball and I see her shaking from where she's crying so much.I've heard you shouldn't wake someone sleep walking or having a nightmare,but I can't just watch her like this.I've never seen her like this before,so I sit up properly and shake her gently,calling her name quietly.I move out the way when she hits out and she sits up fast.
"Babes,it's alright,it was a dream!"
I feel her shaking and then she just bursts into tears.I wrap my arms around her,but she pushes me off.
"Can you just leave us alone!"
She gets out the bed and walks off into the bathroom,slamming the door behind her.I stay sat on the bed,slightly confused about what had just happened.She's never looked so scared before,especially from just a dream.I wanted to know what she was having a nightmare about,but I don't think she wants to speak right now.I wait a couple of minutes before going over to the bathroom door,I go to open it but she's sat against the door.
"Cheryl,are you okay babes?"
"Please can you just leave us alone!"
"Cheryl,please tell me what happened in your dream?"
"Simon,just leave it! I don't want to talk! I need to think!"
I just sigh,not knowing if this is one of her moods or because of the dream.I walk back over to the bed and just turn the light off and lie down.I turn my back to the bathroom door,just staring at the alarm clock,watching the minutes go by.

I wake up the next morning and see that Cheryl is already up.I can hear the girls running around downstairs and shouting.I step out of bed,grabbing my dressing gown and make my way down the stairs.I see Annabelle and Terri running around in the living room,
"Where's your mum?"
"Outside!"
I frown and then walk outside where I see Cheryl just sat down on a chair in the corner.I walk closer to her and see her eyes are red and I know she's been crying,she still is slightly.I walk over to her and kneel infront of her and she slightly moves back in her seat.
"What's going on sweetheart?" I say quietly.
I don't get a reply,she just stares into space.I look into her eyes and just see emptiness at first,but then she looks at me and I just see confusion and hurt in her eyes.
"What went on in your dream last night?"
I still don't get any reply,she doesn't even move.All I see is just a single tear roll down her face.I slowly put my hand to her face and I feel her flinch,and I just slowly wipe the tear away.She just looks in my eyes and doesn't move,and she whispers so quietly,I can only just hear.
"Wednesday the 18th November 2009."
"What about that date babe? That was exactly a year ago."
I see more tears fall down her face and she just shakes her head.She just stands up and goes to walk away,so I hold onto her arm.She turns back and looks at me,but I feel her start to shake and I see the worry in her eyes again.
"Please let go of us." She whispers.
I just drop her arm and watch her walk fast inside.I see her through the window,pacing in the kitchen.I don't understand what's gone on from last night when she was completely fine,to the dream and onwards where she has completely freaked out.She seems so vulnerable,not the feisty geordie I know.I slowly walk back inside and she stops walking as soon as I enter the kitchen.I turn around to shut the door,then when I turn back around again,Cheryl is gone and I can hear her running up the stairs.I go into the living room where the girls are now watching TV,and Annabelle looks at me.
"What's the matter with mam?"
"I don't exactly know Belle's."
"She hasn't really spoken to us this morning,have we done anything wrong?"
They both look at me worriedly,so I walk over to them and kneel down infront of them both,
"Both of you have done nothing wrong at all,don't think that you have okay?"
They both just nod their heads at me and I pull them both in for a cuddle and kiss them both on the forehead.
