Hi my name is Summer and by the sound of my name you would think I live in some warm country where the sun shine all the time. I wish no I live in dark and rainy England. Well that was until 4 hours ago. Right now I'm on a plane headed for Baltimore, Maryland. How did this come about well let me take you back to 1 year ago today.

" Sarah please don't do this!" I screamed at my sister. She was my twin and older than me by 2 minutes. Right now she's standing on the edge of a cliff ready to jump into the English channel. What had happened to drive her to this, boys, bitches and life. See me and my sister were close close as anything outside of school but at school we acted like we didn't know eachother. She is the popular one the one with a million friends and the boyfriend who promised to love her forever but I saw straight through the facade and I told her this. I told her that one day he'd end up breaking he heart. And he did, he cheated on her with her so called best friend and 5 other friends of hers.
This is why she's here I got home from school and fount a note in her room, saying she was going for good and getting rid of the pain life had caused her. I knew exactly where she'd go, so I came to the cliff and now here I am trying to talk her out of jumping.
" I have to Sum, I have no choice I can't take the torture anymore"
" You do have a choice Sarah just please don't d---- " .
And before I could finish she went I screamed and ran to the edge I couldn't move with shock my sister had just jumped off of the cliff and is now dead.
* Present day*
That is why I'm on this plane to Baltimore my mum and dad were distraught after Sarah died and they needed a fresh start so were moving to Baltimore where my mum's sister and her husband and sons Joe, Jack and their daughter May live. To be honest I am looking forward to it I love my cousin Jack he's my best friend and we always have a laugh.
We had finally landed and was now in the car with my uncle Michael who had come and picked us up and was taking us to our new house. Eventually we pulled into our new street and our new house. It was lovely with a white exterior and a pink blossom tree in the front garden. It was lovelier than the pictures. I walked up to the front door and opened it everything was already set up thanks to my auntie Joyce. I walked into the living area and got tackled by a very hyper Jack.
" Summer!!!!" He picked me off of the ground and started to spin me around.
"Jack it's nice to see you too but please put me back down"
" Oh shit sorry Sum, I'm just so happy to see you " I smiled
" Me too"
" Come on Summer I know you just got here by I want you to come and meet my friends"
" Oh what the ones in your band as well? What are you called again?"
" Yep" Jack said popping the p "All time low remember"
"Now I do"
Jack grabbed my hand and yanked me out the door and dragged me next door
"I thought you were taking me to meet your friends?"
" I am one of them Alex is your neighbour, and we have band practice here"
" Oh "
Jack knocked on the door and a middle aged woman anserwed to door
"Hey Mrs Gaskarth"
" Hello Jack, this must be your cousin Summer"
" Hello nice to meet you Mrs Gaskarth" she smiled and then told us they were in the basement Jack yelled a thanks we headed downstairs and walked into the basement, I saw three guys one had long brown hair and was sitting at the drums, the other quite tall and had black straightened hair slightly muscular. And the last was like a greek god he had dark brown hair that covered his forehead and right eye. The one eye I saw was a dark chocolate brown, I could easily get lost in them. I suddenly realised I was probably staring at him so snapped myself out of it before I made him uncomfortable. They hadn't realised thankfully. Jack pointed to the guy sitting at the drums
"Summer this is Rian"
He then pointed to the guy with the black straightened hair who was slightly muscular
" Thats Zack" I smiled and he returned one
He then pinted to the one I had been staring at " And this is Alex" I smiled again and so did he, he smiled the most beautiful smile I've ever seen.
" Guys this is my cousin Summer"
" It's nice to finally meet you " Rian said
"Yh since you said you were moving here Jack has not shut up about how awesome you are" Alex added
" Haha we'll I do love Jacky and I guess I am pretty awesome". They all smiled and laughed.
After the introductions they started to practice with me as their audience, I was supposed to be listenig to them playing Dammit by Blink 182, butr instead I found myself once again lost in Alex's eyes. Watching him sing with so much passion. Staring deep into his eyes I could see a sadness in them a loss, hidden we'll beneaththe happiness he trys to constantly project. Behind the facade he was lost and upset, just like me we both had secrets, this connection we both knew about, as he sung he stared into my eyes as I did the same, I needed to know more about this tortored soul. He needed an escape and so did I......
