Again I don't own, sadly.
After the embarassment of yesterday I went through all classes numbly and then locked myself in my room (okay, and in Fay's) till Fay threatened to use her magic on the door if I didn't open. (To avoid further teasing from her or anyone, I locked myself in the nearest broom closet afterwards.)
I seriously needed to be alone. It's not everyday you get a second letter from your secret admirer (I still can't believe I have one!) and it's read out loud to the whole class. I probably put him off forever.
That was why I seriously didn't expect the following to happen.
"Bunny?" Faybelle called.
"Yeah?"
"Did you order some flowers?" she asked me.
"No, not that I recall. Why would I order flowers?"
"Because the mailman here just delivered a bouquet to you!"
"WHAT?!?" I jumped up faster than you can say 'croquet'.
"Here, if you don't believe me" She thrusted a bouquet-yes, it was really a bouquet-at me. White roses. My favorite flowers. The person, whoever it is, must know me pretty well. Few people are aware of this particular fact. Either that or it was a very lucky guess.
"Before I forget, this was in the bouquet. It must have fallen out." Faybelle added, holding a paper.
It was another love note.
Dear Bunny, it read this time, I hope you like these flowers. I know they're your favorites. With love from the person whose identity almost got busted yesterday in Public Speaking.
So it wasn't a lucky guess. Now let's see who knows this fact.
My dad. Lizzie, who tried to paint some in my family's garden red and whom I barely stopped. Maddie and Kitty who wanted to decorate my birthday party with my fave flowers for my 13th. Alistair...
Hope you liked this despite it being written in a massive rush. Please, if anyone has ideas for
notes, tell me. I need them.
