The doorknob rattled, the teacher looked over I saw her eyes scanning across our heads. She silently counted, she noticed Chris was gone.

Jo grabbed my arm shaking me. "What if it's Chris? We have to let him in."

"What if it's not Chris what if it's the shooter." i responded i knew there was a chance it was him but he would be smart enough not to the leave the bathroom after he heard the shots, wouldn't he? Jo stood up, i pulled her back down.

"What are you doing?" i asked to harshly, because just as i said it the doorknob stopped moving. We stared at the door. Everything went quiet again. Jo stood again and before her she ran towards the door. "CHRIS! i'm coming." She reached the door, unlocked it and opened it. Just as she did the first bullet plummeted into her chest, then another, and another. blood poured from the wounds. she had fallen to the floor when I saw the first black boot.

The shooter stepped on Jo's chest crushing her body. He looked over at the desk and screaming children. smiling he raised the gun.
