Chapter 24:

We went on another date after I sent that text. It was uncalled for as well. He turned up at my door at the early hour of nine in the morning, without a call or anything. I had been peacefully asleep in my bedroom, probably not awaking until about...well noon, but a certain knock on the door got me up, and we could all agree that I wasn't happy about it.

I had opened the door for him, crankily at that. I didn't bother looking in the mirror as I came out to open the door. Adding to that, I only wore a white tank top, gray sweatpants, and fuzzy pink slippers on my feet.

And guess how he greeted me?

"Well you look like shit."

What a wonderful thing to hear right when being woken up, not even with the chance to wash my face or even brush my teeth.

So he had asked me out on a date...well after my long speech about how he should've called me before he came over so I could at least be prepared to...well wake up. He just chuckled and said the lame excuse of wanting it to be a surprise.

Well it was a surprise alright. A really bad one.

"So what would you like?" Harry asked. We were standing at the cashier at Starbucks, after I had quickly gotten ready in a little less than half an hour. I did the casual and comfy outfit- jeans, a jumper, and a pair of my converses.

"Umm," I racked my brain for an answer since I wasn't exactly too awake at the moment. My brain was still fuzzy.

"She'll have a vanilla bean frap and that lemon pound cake," Harry orderd for me. The weird thing was that the order was actually what I wanted. I shouldn't be too shocked by that- he used to go to Starbucks to get me stuff whenever I didn't feel like leaving the flat.

"It's like you're trying to get me fat," I grumbled. We sat down at the table for two at the very corner of the shop. He wasn't even caring that someone would see the pair of us together. I think he wanted someone to snap a picture, and make it all official that we were indeed, back together.

"Well I'd still love you if even if you were," Harry grinned.

"Square one," I reminded him, "we're at square one. Don't push it Styles."

He put his hands up in surrender. "Alright Rosie, no need to get defensive."

I rolled my eyes.

Our order was called, and we retrieved our drinks. At least they spelled my name right. I've gotten "Rosey" or "Rosy" before, and one guy even had the nerve to write "Rosie Posie."

"Seroiusly," Harry groaned, "how do you mispell my name? I don't understand. Were these people ever in school or do they just assume that names need to be spelled in such ridiculous ways?"

I took a look at his cup, seeing that they spelled his name with only one 'r'

"It'll be okay," I patted his shoulder, "the world isn't going to end sweetie. They just mispelled your name."

I took a sip of my drink, then bit into my pound cake. Mm hm, definitely going to need to hit the gym later. Definitely.

We walked out of Starbucks, and I looped my arm through his. We walked on the sidewalk like that, me leaning on his arm because I was still tired from him waking me up so early. I would sip my drink every so often, then bite into the delicious cake. God, this was heavenly. When was the last time I had Starbucks?

"I still don't understand why you woke me up so early," I grumbled, "that was mean."

"I was bored," he said, like it answered everything.
