New surroundings

KAYLA PERSPECTIVE

I woke up to feel the yanking of Ania pulling my hair. "STOP ANI!" I snapped sharply.
"IT'S UNIVERSE TIME!!" She said as she jumped frantically.
I snap open the world and jump out of bed. Excited I ran to the kitchen and ate my food drastically.

Danielle was in living room watching TV. "Hey your awake, the taxi picks us up at lunch so get READY!" She giggles.
I look at the clock it was 8:34 and I just got up.

All I really had to do was put my clothes in and remember to carry everything. Ania was putting all her makeup in her bag ever so carefully, trying not to wreck her stuff.

I had washed my hair the day before, so all I could smell was coconuts. I bushed it out and straightened out and un necessary curls. I looked down a the scars along my arm. "Will they know?" I ask my self.

As an eleven year it was hard, until I left Kent in England. I moved to Oxfordshire were I met Ania. I still remember boarding school. We went to
Le D'emal Madame for girls.
Even thought it was better there things were still troubling. Bullies are hard to cope with, I still have the same blade I took from the first aid kit. I used to hide in a toilet cutting my arm. Seems quite useless and stupid now. My left arm has scars all the way to my wrist.

It was 11:43 and we were all ready, I had took my phone up and laid in my pocket. Taxi was ment to arrive soon and we were all excited. We carried our bags and suitcases in front of the door.
Suddenly my phone buzzed.
"Hey Kay!" Chase called.
"Hi I'm just going where are you?" I asked.
"In da car I'm your taxi man!" He said in a slangy tone. Looked out of the window to see Chase in a taxi. I smiled and called everyone to the car.

After an hours drive we arrived university. We listened to the principal and went to our new rooms. Me and Danielle pack away and picked our beds. I was on the top buck bed above Danielle.
We still didn't meet this Kaitlin Theobald.
We all put on a white Nike crop tops and black demin shorts. "Perfecto!" Ania giggled.
"THE DKA SQUAD!" Danielle jumped. Danielle Ania and I decided to go down stair and find something to eat in the cafe.

I stood in amaze, "AHHHH OREO!!!" I screamed as I stood in the cue. Danielle glared at me, "So juvenile!" She giggled.
"I'm keeping my beach body diets thank you very much" Ania sniggered.
I ordered a Oreo frozen yogurt.
Ania got a Cesar Salad and Danielle got a blueberry jelly pop.

We went to the lounge room and sat at the back on the best seats. I started eat my frozen yogurt before it melted. "Hey look at her!" Ani whispered as she pointed at this girl.

She was about our age yet soo fake. She was perched admiring her nails and face in a mirror. Me and Danielle nicknamed her butter face. She put her mirror down and started pouting as she took selfies.

Suddenly , Chase walked in, the moment I was to wave at him butter face hugged him. I stood in curiosity and awkwardness.

Unsure of my next action I continued to eat my yogurt, yet still peeping to see what they were doing. It reminded me how I used to stalk people at school. I glimpsed up, Chase and Miss Makeup was walking to us.
Danielle who was playing Colour Switch rolled her eyes. "May Day May Day Butter face coming at 12 O' clock!" She muttered under her breath. Ania primped as she saw her walk over.

"Hey Chase...Settled in your room yet?" I stuttered sheepishly.
"Yea you?" He replied casually.
"Fine.." I froze in silence.
Butter face was staring at me as I spoke.
"You've not met my girlfriend yet have you?", he questioned.
"Girlfriend?" I said hiding my shock.

"Yeah, this is Carmen, Carmen meet Kay, Kay meet Carmen" he said sarcastically.
"Nice to meet you!" I smiled to so called Carmen.
"Yup me too...who de others?", Butterface asked arrogantly.
"Danielle and Ania.." I said back.
"Yup okay like we can hang every now and den like you look kinna cool.." She said as she chewed her gum, "Like you lot can be my friends cos like all my friends are like at wats it called thingy... And like yea what evs..".
Danielle rolled her eyes as she rose her eye brows.
"Alright see you later girls!" Chase said as he walked away with Butter.

After we finished eating me and Danielle went to our rooms. Whilst trying to put the key in I realised the door was open.
I walked in.
"Oh hey you must be Kayla and Danielle Samuel the UNI had less rooms so were expecting another roomie!"

Okay so that's it for today. I was going to publish earlier.
But it wasn't at its best so I improved it and made it more publish worthy. I hope you enjoy it and thank you everyone who read up to this. I am truly grate full. I'll publish soon.
