Chapter 26

Heey!!! Sorry I was gonna upload last night...Butt..since there is a flood going on around me, I had  some trouble:/ Yess!!! Sooo anyway...To the story?;)

Edward's p.o.v


We raced home, worrying about Gabbie and Sammie. I held onto Gabbie tightly, making sure I didn't hurt her.

We finally reached the house, seeing Bella and Jake looking for Gabbie, worried. They looked up and saw me carrying Gabbie. Bella and Jake sighed of relief. They ran up to me, "Edward we are soo sorry, she woke up and found out...She raced off and Jake lost her trail.".

I smiled gently at them and said "It's ok, since she is a shield...she can hide her trail to." They nodded knowingly.

We walked inside, into Carlisle's office. I laid Gabbie down on the hospital bed he had set up, and let Carlisle tape her up.

I looked down at her and she looked like she was in pain, but holding it back. I bit my lip. That's when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked down and Alice smiling at me thinking "She'll be ok Edward".

I sighed and nodded. Carlisle had her all taped up. He turned towards me and smiled, "She'll be fine...Just a couple of broken ribs. Just let her rest." I smiled and nodded.

I went towards Gabbie who was sleeping peacefully. I gently picked her up, making sure she didn't wake up.

I walked into our room and I laid her down in the bed, sliding her under the covers. I shut the lights off.

My throat burned and I didn't want to risk it. I shut the door and walked downstairs.

"I'm going hunting anyone else wanna come?" Jasper and Alice stood up.

I smiled and walked out the door, letting my instincts take over.

Gabbie's p.o.v:

"Gabbie.run!" Edward yelled. I shook my head and started to turn around.

I heard a scream and tearing. I turned around and saw Edward's ashes and my father smiling. I screamed and screamed for Edward. My dad looked up and started stalking towards me.

"No!" I whispered sitting straight up in bed.

It was just a dream, more like a nightmare. Momma cradled me against her chest, rocking back and forth, humming

I took deep breaths trying to slow my heart rate. I thought it was gonna pop right out of my chest.

I heard the door open and Edward walk through, looking worried. I sighed and got my heart rate back to normal.

Edward sat on my bed, sitting next to me and Momma.

I smiled at Edward and put my arms up for him. He smiled gently and picked me up.

"Gabbie how are you feeling dear" I heard Momma ask. I spoke in her mind saying "I feel sore". She nodded, standing up and saying "I'll go get you a tylonel". With that she left.

I laid my head against Edward's chest, sighing. "I love you Gabbie" Edward whispered. "I love you too Edward".

I was about to fall back asleep until Momma came in with a glass of apple juice and a tiny pill. I sighed and took the pill and drank the apple juice.

Momma kissed my head and left.

Edward laid me back down and I fell asleep in his arms.

Yess Very Short I know but heey its not THAT short. Sadly, there is only 2 chapters left...Hopefully 2 chapters left, I still have to figure some things out:( BUT!!!! There is gonna be a SEQUEL:) Haha!!! Yess I wanna make at least 3 more books out of this idea..maybe 4!!! Soo I can't wait!!!!:)
