Chapter 29<3

Gabbie's p.o.v

"D..dad?" I stuttered. He smiled evilly and started to walk towards me. I was frozen in place. It seemed like all time froze. I looked around and nobody was there.

He was right near me when he tried to grab me, that's when I bolted he chased me until we got to the house. I saw Edward on the porch waiting for me. I jump in his arms and whisper "He..he's out there". He looks at me and asks "Who Gabbie?"

I look towards the woods and whisper "My father". His face went grim and he handed me to Bella, "Jasper..Emmett come with me...Gabbie just saw her father and he chased her home".

They nod and left. I kept looking out towards the woods, wishing he didn't get away. Aubrey looked at me apologetically. I sit next to her and curl up in a ball. Next thing I knew, we fell asleep.

**Edward's p.o.v**

Why didn't I go with her? I could have killed him already! She still had nightmares of that guy. I swear I see him..he's dead.

We finally caught his scent. We raced towards it but it lead to a dead end. I sighed frustrated. Jasper sent me a wave of calmness. I nod and say "Let's get home." and with that said we were on our way home.

We walked out of the trees and ran into the house. I looked around and saw Gabbie and Aubrey sleeping side by side in a curled up ball. I smile gently and decide to go hunting. My eyes were a dark gold so I would have to go soon anyway.

"I'm going hunting anyone coming??" Emmett and Alice stand up. I smile and run out the door. Shutting down my mind.

**Gabbie's p.o.v**

I woke up and stretched. "Ow!" I heard someone mutter. I turn my head and see Aubrey sleeping also. I laugh and whisper "I'm sorry". Her eyes were closed but she just smiled "Go back to sleep" She mumbles.

I laugh and say "No thanks but you can". I grab my t.v remote and turn the tv on. "Do, do, do, do, Dora" *Click*. Fairly OddParents...Alright I guess. I sat there and watched t.v for  minutes until I heard my door open.

My eyes darted to the door and Edward walks in. I smile and jump in his arms. He smiles gently and kisses my cheek. "Sleep well Love?" I just nod and smile. Next thing I knew, he cradled me and hummed my lullaby. I fell asleep in his arms dreaming peacefully.

**2 weeks later**

"Gabbie! Get up! Come on! Its your birthday!" Alice squeals excitedly. I open my eyes and see Alice jumping up and down. I hid my face in Edward's chest. "Gabbie...don't make me drag you out of bed" Alice threatened. Edward chuckled and I just groaned.

I got out of bed and stood there, I was still half asleep. Alice runs into the closet and grabs my outfit. I sigh, so many birthday dresses to choose from.

Alice comes out with a pink dress with different color cupcakes on it (Pic. on the side ~~>) I sigh and slip it on. Alice takes me to the bathroom and starts to straighten my hair..wait what? I was actually pretty excited to see my hair.

"Voila!" She sang proudly.

I looked in the mirror and I looked so different. I smiled and hugged Alice tightly "Thank you!" I squealed. She smiled wider and picked me up and we walked downstairs.

I saw Edward and smiled. I raised my hands for him like always, he comes and picks me up. "So are you ready for your party?" I sigh and nod. He chuckles and we walk out the glass doors.

I gasped. I looked around and it was beautiful, it was butterfly and flower themed. There was flowers all across the yard and butterfly's hanging around. There was twinkly lights across the tree. I smile wide.

Edward sets me down and whispers "I'll be right back..Gotta go check on something" I look towards him and nod. And, he was gone.

I see Aubrey looking around also. I smile and walk up to her. "Gabbie...this is beautiful" She whispers. I smile and nod.

"And did you see the presents?!?" She squeals. I look towards the table and see piles and piles of presents. My mouth drops and I hear Aubrey laugh.

I smile and looks toward her. That's when Edward came back and said "Ready to open your presents Love?" I smile wider and nod. He picks me up and Aubrey follows us.

He sets me down in the middle of everybody. Alice comes up and yells "Gabbie is going to open her presents now" They all gather around me and watch.

Alice hands me a purple bag. I open it and it was a...be-dazzler? I smile and say "Thank you Auntie Alice...I'm gonna bedazzle Uncle Emmett!" That when I heard Uncle Emmett yell "Yay!" We all laugh.

Jasper comes up and hands me a blue box. I tear open the box and it was...penguin poggles. I wanted these for a while. I squeal and hug Jasper "Thank you Uncle Jasper!!!" He laughs and kisses my head.

Emmett comes up and it was something cardboard. He turns it around and it was a life size picture of...Justin. Friggin. Bieber. I should've seen it coming. I glare at him furiously. He pouts and then laughs. I smile devilishly and say "Thanks Uncle Emmett..I LOVE it!" His smile disappears. He walks away, pouting. What's with him and Justin Bieber?

Sammie comes up and hands me a pink bag. I open it up and it was a scrapbook of me, her and our whole family. I smile and tears edge around my eyes. i hug her tightly and whisper "Thank you". She kisses my cheek and nods.

Aubrey comes skipping up handing me a tiny box. I open it and it was a bracelet that says "Friends" I looked up confused at her and she holds up her wrist with a bracelet saying "Best". I laugh and hug her. "Forever" I promise.

Daddy and Momma come up and hand me a big green box. I open it up and it was...a collage of pictures of all of us. I smile wider and hug them tight. "I love you guys soo much" They laugh and say "I love you too!".

Last but not least, Edward comes up with a silver box. I smile at him and open it up. It was beautiful. I was speechless. It was a wooden carved rose, with every detail. I looked on the side and it said "~12~12~11~. That was the day we met. Tears poured over, I couldn't help it. I hugged him so tight if he was human, he wouldn't be able to breathe.

"Thank you soo much Edward..I love it with all my heart". I hear the smile in his voice as he says "I love you " I smile and kiss his nose.

Some say, they want to make their happy ever after come true..but it won't. But me, mine is true. I love my family and wouldn't ask for anyone better.My happy ever after. I am with my heart and soul forever.
