Ella's POV
The news of how the decisions were going to be made were published whilst we were all gathered at the park on the swings, chatting and giggling like good friends do. Then Rebecca, who had an iPhone 10c and super fast 6g screamed when she saw that they were going to draw the winners out of the hat.
Great. Just great. No. Logic. What. So. Ever.
Really?!
R.E.A.L.L.Y???!!!!!!
They have just crushed my dreams. I have no chance. There is five of us in like the whole world!
We all went home our separate ways, deflated.
I didn't feel like listening to one direction on that short journey home, so I put on my old favourites, JLS. The lads.
Why did they break up? Oh yeah. 1D.
1D are the cause of every bad thing that happens to me!
(Except all those lovely daydreams, but they don't count)
Never mind. We all know it's all a joke anyway.Rebecca's POV
Ella's very pessimistic. How can she suddenly give up on her idols? I'm optimistic. Always the best way to be. Always look on the bright side of life, that's what I say.
We had a chance and that's all that matters. We have as much chance as everybody else. Now let's go win this thing.
But first, to cheer up Ella.Scarlet's POV
I picked up Rebecca's call straight away. I grabbed my keys and jumped in the car to pick up Rebecca. The short journey flew by as I sang along to M.I.T.A.M, and when I had picked up Rebecca we went to Ella's, via the shop for popcorn.
When we arrived we walked straight in. We never bothered with knocking or doorbells. We had nothing to hide.
I switched on the dvd player whilst Rebecca wiped away Ella's tears. I put in the first one direction film and we watched it together, curled up on the sofa and reminded Ella why she loved 1D in the first place.
Because that's what best friends do.
